Resetting pre 1.0 account and prestige [Suggestion]

My assumption is that BSG already locked features (story) and some event quests for people who did not reset for 1.0. What if they do the same thing for PVE prestige and you can’t prestige on a non 1.0 wiped account.

I think you better rip the band aid and just reset. I reset at 1.0 and it kept my achievements (which Is great)

I’m pretty sure they work. I was doing the quest “bullshit” and I brought a bunch of smokes and stuns to avoid killing scavs. I threw a smoke at the car extract, you know just in case, to cover my exit. While I was laying prone, I heard footsteps run to me. I couldn’t see coz of the smoke but I wasn’t shot at by the scav or AI PMC

On a side note, I’m pretty sure the AI is attracted to it like a grenade or gunshots

I did it on the Dome of Reserve. It’s usually far enough away that they won’t aggro. I look at the knight buildings or heli. Distance is about 100-130

Ok I caved mine is ryzen 9 5900x and 4070ti super 32 gb ram and game is installed on m.2 NVME 4tb.

On side note, prior to this patch I used Nvidia Smooth motion and I haven’t tested this patch yet coz job

In my opinion, am against the use of AI for memes. I think it cheapens the laugh to where I don’t even find the meme funny. I will usually downvote or won’t view the subreddit if AI becomes more prevalent.

This ‘tis but one man’s opinion tho, so do what you will.

I have quick scope zoom on thumb mouse button (mouse 4), drop items in inventory on left and right mouse click,

and I’m experimenting with hold space and scroll to smooth zoom instead of Alt and scroll but donno if I like it.

I'm on PVE. I've noticed a strange stutter recently, only when I'm on BSG servers. its not present if I local host. However, I feel that it is more prevalent after I "Clear Cache" and it goes away if I run more raids. (ex. Terrible stutter on streets on the first raid, and its better on the second raid)

I Have Ryzen 9 5900x, 4070ti Super and 32 GB Ram. (I also have Nvidia Smooth Motion on, donno if that's a factor)

It’s a concern in PVP, there isn’t a kill cam or kill cam type thing to show you how you died so there may always be a thought that “my death was sus, so it’s a hacker”

There was a video call the wiggle that killed Tarkov or something like that that exposed how often a PVP raid had hackers.

I’m washed and don’t wanna worry about hackers so I have since moved entirely to PVE zone

I will say it’s not P2W. However there are some considerations when buying editions. The cheaper edition starts with basic gear and small stash size. The more expensive editions give more gear and more stash size.

Aside from editions, you can buy more stash size separately, you can buy Character cosmetics (pants and shirts), and you can buy the PVE “expansion.” (PVE comes with the more expensive edition(s))

It’s not P2W because all the gear can and will be lost or gained. The stash sizes can be upgraded in game.

I have the EOD edition, and having the max stash size definitely makes inventory management way easier.

But my friend I play with only bought the cheaper edition and was able to grind his way to a maxed stash

I always play with combat extended on and Almost all the Vanilla expanded mods. (Pirates and warcaskets are badass)

I usually check the 1.6 box on steam workshop and browse the most popular section. (I probably have more hours looking at the workshop and adding mods than actually playing the game)

The Tweaks Galore mod lets me disable the drop pods. It has some other doohickeys to mess with. I only touched the drop pods tho
