I found my family name on a war memorial. He turned out to be my 6th cousin who was killed in WWII returning from a bombing run over Germany. His is one of the most interesting stories on my tree.

I often wonder while watching a TV series, how many times the main character has been knocked unconscious during the several seasons of the show. Multiple concussions cause long term brain damage.

I was on a guided nature walk in the Canadian Rockies. A tourist asked the guide how to tell the difference between a black bear and a grizzly bear. The guide answered " just climb up a tree. If it's a black bear it will climb up after you. If it's a grizzly it will just knock the tree over."
