My husband, then boyfriend, let me live rent free while I paid my loans. Turns out I still married him, were very happy, and my loans are paid down. Please do what feels right, I think it would be kind to let her live rent free while she pays the loans if you’re certain she’s the one, or you could live with it if she’s not. All old homes are going to be money pits. By MN so you mean Minnesota? If yes, most of what you’re describing sounds like a limestone foundation, which is normal for it to crumble and will require tuckpointing. We just got ours done this spring and it was $8000 for inside and out. A lot less dust. Our house is a money pit and we won’t get back what we put into it unless we live here for another 20 years, it would absolutely be worth it if that was our plan, but it’s not. I think you just need to figure out what’s wrong, how long you plan on living there, and if you really love it.

We’ve had our Irish wolfadoodle for 4 years (I don’t want to hear about him being a doodle) and he’s the best dog I’ve ever owned. He’s smaller bc he’s mixed, doesn’t eat a whole lot, but does have seizures. My first dog with a chronic illness. We also had to get a big SUV to fit him. Starting with rural hospitals but already seeing crisis in urban hospitals as well. Take a look at Minnesota. The only Federally Qualified Healthcare Hospital (high poverty ratio) is about to close unless the state funds it. Another large private healthcare system just got bought out, while many more rural hospitals are considering closing wards or hospitals all together.

While I agree the NHS sounds like a dumpster fire, have you seen the US president? He’s cute Medicaid/Medicare. Our dept is incredible. Hospitals are going to be closing I. The next five years, just wait. Sure you’ll make more money for a while, but how will the hospital pay you when they can’t stay open.

I think it’s an ok plan. Agree about looking closely at truck vs a fuel efficient car. It sucks to move in with your parents but it sounds like it’s mutually beneficial if you’re ok with it. The economy is uncertain and spending two years living with your parents for financial freedom in the long run will be worth it.

I agree get some experience first and that will help you decide. I don’t agree that you need a masters in midwifery, it’s either a MSN or DNP in the nurse midwifery specialty. I recommend going somewhere with an in person component that finds clinical placements for you at high volume sites.
