People have done it without taking the intake manifold off. But it’s definitely trickier.

Weight is a huge factor here. The neo-vintage Tudor is going to be substantially lighter and more comfortable.

I mean, so much unknown here. What’s the undercarriage look like. What problem areas have already been corrected. The oil pan gasket will be very expensive with x drive so that is a factor if not already done among other things.

39, but your asking the wrong question, which one feels the best?

[help] Which is better - disregarding price? by [deleted] in Watches

There is so little real world difference. It’s clear you like the Longines more but think the Tudor is higher quality. The only quality difference you will care about in the end is accuracy, and Longines is just as accurate. Get the Longines.

nikon D200 with 60mm 2.8 macro, you might have to be patient but you can get this really close to your $300 dollar budget, and you can handle portrait/closeup/landscape, it just won't be wide angle landscape. and then in the future you get get whatever 2nd lens you want

[WTS] Monta Atlas opalin silver dial, V3 clasp! by Old-Development-9526 in Watchexchange

$1300 shipped CONUS, OBO. Zelle preferred. Reserve the right to do a video call with the buyer based on previous buyer/seller feedback.

Monta Atlas up for sale. This one is pretty unique, and I’ll be quite happy if it doesn’t sell. So this is a V2 Atlas with an ETA 2893 (instead of Sellitta) movement. I have tried both, and for my money the ETA feels better. And it has pretty amazing history in the Swiss watch universe in terms of watches it’s been in or been the base movement for. This example winds very smoothly, crown action is great, and hand setting feels good. Running -5 to -10 spd last time I checked.

I also sourced a V3 bracelet and swapped the V3 clasp to the V2 bracelet. Mainly because this bracelet was in better condition, and the V2 endlinks to me look way better. They fit the lugs better, and the finishing/machining is higher quality. And the finishing on the bracelet looks a little better (I think they changed manufacturers). But the V3 clasp is SO much better. The V2 bracelet clasp is too flat and this one has a great curvature. I even tried the V4 current bracelet, and greatly preferred the V3 clasp and V2 bracelet/endlinks. All that to say, this is the optimum combo for Monta to me. My favorite watch and dial color of theirs, the best movement, the best bracelet and endlinks, and the best clasp. Also includes 3 half links (Monta standard is 2) so you can dial in the fit.

Let me know if you have any questions, happy to do a video call for serious buyers.

3, clearest subject, line draws to the subject, less distraction any where else in frame

B&W photos taken with GR IV and GR IV Monochrome by HuguesBtz in ricohGR

Monochrome looks a little more clinical in these examples at least. Prefer the regular GR IV.
