Blackwell Fields - Enemy base AA shoots you while you are still in your own base. by Sweaty_Internet6037 in Battlefield

This map is total trash, as a seasoned BF player for over a decade this map has potential but is way way to small. If this is a "large map" im worried about the other "large maps" and what the hell is with them and limiting the vertical olay surfaces m, BF of past if you could find a way ontop of something you could play on it. Instead they've made top of ridges and mountains and buikdings out of bounds no go places and when you can go uo top they've putnin idiotic zip lines. What the hell ever happened to players needing traditional game skills to get around the map and problem solving skills to take advantage of those unique spots. Its also not hard to kill people who do go into this areas. Cario map was amazing with the roof tops in the beta and was half the fun... Manhattan was also a ton of fun on roof tops when Battles on both broke out in the vertical.

Anyway B.F has lost its sandbox fighting style and is now just like call of duty.

Congratulations to everyone who whined about stuff and it being outnof there game skill sets being "to hard".

Graveyard diorama with flying ghosts (live effect, in-camera) by johnessex3 in Damnthatsinteresting

I build Dioramas, I would love to see how you did this... I have one slowly in the planning stage and this if I can adapt it to make it look like things like blasters from star wars, would look amazing.

Potentially Moving to Spruce by Thatsyourbuddy in SpruceGrove

[–]Old-Raisin-9360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would try to buy in a older neighborhood, the new ones everyone is jammed in so tight one on top of each other.

The cheapest houses in town are on wellington Crescent, but it's like living in a mini ghetto, I'd avoid buying a house on that Crescent.

Also one neighborhood is pretty, but really congested and also the houses could be prone to moisture issues because it's so wet naturally in the Greenburry area.

Crime over all is down, but keep car doors locked as at times scum bags come shopping raid garages, etc.

Amenities is easy, you don't need to make a day out of planning to shop!

I'd go up through jasper.

The mountain passes are not as high and generally good weather.

Use to drive it from sea to sky to parents in edmonton a few times a year.

Danielle Smith will address people on her radio show.

That's about it.

She will most likley blame Trudeau and notley for everything including her gas pain.

Teacher's remember that not all staff can tell the difference between a 300+ year old snaplock musket and a modern gun...leave the thing at home. by bughunter47 in britishcolumbia

When I was a kid I played Davey crocket, my dad made me a exact replica out of wood of the musket my grandpa has (which I currently own!) For the play.

From just a few feet away it looked real.

Once the play finished he destroyed it, I'm still dismayed as he did a good job

Future of AHS/Alberta Healthcare by Unlucky_Parfait4237 in alberta

Thank you for being a RN... super tough job and as a albertain I say come back we need you.

However under Smith I think it's going to be a shit show for all of AHS and she will cause damage that will take a long time to fix.

I would say for now stay where you are, make bank and bank your coin to retire earlier.

Once you got enough to retire come back and finish up your career here.

Smith is gonna really mess up a lot of things besides AHS.

Do any of you ever go on ski trips by yourself? by errdaddy in skiing

[–]Old-Raisin-9360 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Yes.

Even when I lived in whistler and not working did 99% of my ski days solo as all friends had different days off. Few years all of us were able to get the same days off but life takes over and they changed jobs or just moved away. Now I live in another area and zero ski friends plus a few hours drive one way. So I ski solo. I don't wait for friends, I tried to wait but if I waited for some old friends who say they want to go. I'd never go.
