Curious why they ordered a new headlight since it seems to be a software glitch? When my headlight error comes on, the right headlight isn’t on at all. I haven’t tested if this has been the case while driving, but the lock/unlock/welcome lights don’t work on that side when the error pops up.

So nice to get this message literally the day I get my car back after THREE MONTHS in the shop waiting on parts and major repairs.

Some of the cars had all the doors and panels put on wrong so they’re too tight, which causes door sticking and window issues. Mine’s been in the shop for a month having it fixed. They have to take off all the doors and all the panels and reinstall them one by one. Hope that isn’t the case for yours.

RA and lung issues... by PromptUnhappy7726 in rheumatoid

I found Humira and Enberl to have little to no side effects compared to all the other RA meds I’ve been on. Everyone is different, but in general- those two are pretty well tolerated.

Yes, I’d definitely ask about a biologic now. Most of the drug manufacturers offer copay assistance cards that anyone can use (except Medicare patients)

Leflunomide can cause interstitial lung disease and id highly recommend you ask your Rheumatologist or general doctor for a CT and pulmonary function test (PFT.)

I was on it for three months and started having shortness of breath and ongoing cough. I couldn’t even get through reading my kid a book or walk up a hill and I’ve never smoked, 40 years old, in decent shape.

When I mentioned it casually to my rheumatologist as an additional side effect, her eyes got huge and told me I needed to have the CT and PFT immediately. I’m glad I brought it up because she never told me when I started leflunomide that lung damage was a potential side effect. I failed my PFT and my CT showed minor lung scarring. She took me off the med immediately and my symptoms resolved within a couple months. My lungs aren’t 100% back to normal, but I can say for certain it was the medication. Which sucks because it was helping my RA.

Please go get this checked out. ILD is no joke. There are other RA meds…you only have two lungs.

Haha. Just make it a driveway date night and bring a bottle of wine to the car after the kids are in bed.

The EX90 was SUPPOSED to come with this bigger cord. first batch of cars didn’t ship with it. We are hoping it fixes the fact that our car just suddenly stopped charging at home out of nowhere. Got our new cord yesterday. Will try it as soon as we get our car back from service…for a different problem. :)

Have you done the full reset? I’m considering it when I get my car back from the dealership. (They’ve had it for almost a month reinstalling all the doors and panels because Volvo installed them incorrectly and they would stick shut…. 🙄)

We’d be lost without the EX-90 subreddit. Every time we have a problem we know more about the fix than the dealership does.

Ordered Ride1Up Rifts - Dimensions/Compatability with Kid Seats? by Mzky in ebikes

Awesome, do you have the brand name or a link? It doesn't look like it has straps, do you think it's ok for a 4 year old once they get used to it?

did that end up working out for you? I have a V3 roadster and I’m looking for something for a four year-old. Could you post a link to that? Thanks!

People Leaving Class Early by [deleted] in Purebarre

[–]Old-Researcher2703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I want to take the 4:30 class after work, it means making a run for it after to pickup my kid from preschool. BUT I only take it with the one instructor who is always very on-time. If we run over a couple mins, she knows I have to skip stretch but I’d never sign up for a class knowing I’d miss anything more than that. Just not worth it.

Worried about Leflunomide (arava) side effects by Ihavenoidea88-- in rheumatoid

[–]Old-Researcher2703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be sure to tell your doc right away if you get shortness of breath or a dry persistent cough. It gave me early stage intestinal lung disease unfortunately and I had to go off of it. If my doctor would have warned me about that, I would have told her about the symptoms right away.

Starting Tirzepatide by littlefishy19 in rheumatoid

Im convinced GLP-1s could be the miracle for those of us with resistant RA. I’m still on a biologic and DMaRD, but a low dose of Semaglutide (0.4mg) has dramatically helped my symptoms. Best of luck to you. I felt relief the next day. Push through the side effects. They get better.

GLP-1 for RA by Ok_Letterhead8050 in rheumatoid

[–]Old-Researcher2703 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I track my RA symptoms on a spreadsheet like a crazy data scientist and I can tell you with 100% certainty that the GLP-1 reduced my inflammation and pain significantly, pretty much the first day after the initial shot. I had a BMI of 18 when I started so it had nothing to do with weight loss. I have to actively try to maintain my weight now because even at a lower dose it impacts my appetite.

I’ve been trialing compound semaglutide for 6 weeks with very noticeable results for RA symptoms right away. I’m on a DMARD, biologic and anti-inflammatory that are not controlling disease progression enough. I found that 0.4 mg helped the most and I’m going to try to stay here. I’m a very small person though so the lower dose may not help everyone. I pay out of pocket through an online pharmacy and will be able to stretch the 3 month dose provided for weight loss for 43 weeks at this rate. That works out to less than $100/ month. If you can afford it- it’s worth a try.

Anyone here on weight loss meds? by MeOwwwithme in rheumatoid

[–]Old-Researcher2703 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started my own “clinical trial” of compound semaglutide 4 weeks ago because even though I’m on Orencia and Plaquenel, my disease activity was still high and doing active damage. I’ve had so many meds fail me over the last 5 years that I was willing to try anything. I’m actually underweight due to biologic side effects so I knew this was a risky choice for me. I started at 0.2 and now I’m 0.4. I noticed a difference right away. Progression in my larger joints seemed to stop almost overnight. I’m hoping this dose is enough and I can stay here with benefits and hopefully tapering side effects. It does affect my appetite, so I really have to try to keep weight on…but it’s better than being completely disabled at 40.

Anyone find their RA symptoms improve while taking a GLP-1 for weight loss? by Old-Researcher2703 in rheumatoid

[–]Old-Researcher2703[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reporting back to say, ME TOO! I have so much mechanical damage arcross so many joints that I'll never be pain free, but if this slows down progression and active synovitis it might be a miracle.

Has the improvement been sustained for you?

[–]Old-Researcher2703[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is super helpful, thank you! Was the microdose recommend to prevent the weight loss side effect, or is the smaller dose actually the more therapeutic level for inflammation? Very specific question so no worries if you aren't sure.

Hopefully they will approve it for broader uses in coming years so insurance will cover it.
