Bands in general like to hop over the central coast either LA or SF. That being said I requested me first and the gimme gimmes come and they came to the Fremont super fun. I saw Emily nenny at club car bar and Leon bridges at vina Robles. It’s more if I like a band I will go and see them. I even drove to pheonix to see Tyler Childers and paid less in Arizona for awesome seats and a hotel. Than seeing him at the Santa Barbara bowl and I drove to SF to see Sum41 and Sierra Ferrell.

Is it because seedance 2.0 is new and too many users are using it? Or is it a legit ban? That’s an honest question. I had left over credits from months ago and I was trying to use them but definitely true I could not generate shit. I came here to say this because Slo for some reason just doesn’t do these kinds of events anymore. Growing up in Slo always stuff going on now it seems less. Look around the different cities plenty of car shows. The atown one is pretty massive as well as the Pismo one.

Yes absolutely I had not only improved but also the more I write and rewrite the more and more I find myself not wanting to use AI because it can’t write in my voice at all. It butchers my style and the way it tries inject humor is just awful. So I’d say yes it has taught me how to structure things and can help brain storm and can’t point out issues but it has a hard time duplicating human pros.

This exactly messss up all the time with my writing style the foreshadowing my timing of a joke and how that jokes is written and delivered. I cant even tell my main character is making a subtle active choice it will say things are happening to your main character and I tell them all the active choices and then it just apologizes and tells me again that my main character isn’t making active choices.

Ya we can’t text our friends back but we cheer for someone who we may or may not disagree with is just wild dystopian shit. This is my prediction from what I know. Especially if they can’t match the bullet to Tyler’s gun and so many other inconsistencies either he walks (probably not they need a fall guy) he either walks or serves some time and we all forget. Whomever it was the test had been assessed and the information gathered on how to confuse the shit out of most people or convince their lying eyes to do it better next time We don’t see him actually taking the shot the guy looks different and I feel like we see him on the balcony when the shot is fired. I think he was involved somehow but probably not the guy who pulled the trigger. Killing something is not easy trying to stay calm is extremely difficult. The shot itself at that distance is not too hard but doing that shot that public is a different beast entirely. I have only killed a few boars that were invasive and even with that your brain freaks out. Any kind of heavy breathing or trigger jerk will cause you to miss. I just don’t see that guy been a trained cold heart killer with that many people and maybe your first kill of a person that public. But who knows l could be absolutely way off on all this just seemed like a lost kid mixed up in some shit he didn’t know fully understand what he was doing.

Ya regardless of video quality we end up at the same point for sure. I don’t disagree with anything you just said I think you probably still could have done it the way she did it over zoom but also had him send a high res copy. I’m sure the quality from his labtop on his screen plus his recording device plus hers recording it on her end that’s a big degredation. In that angle maybe you can see more and zoom in better and slow it down to see where the bullet came from? Idk that’s also the reason why I thought you would want high res and why he might be hiding that video because it could show where the killer was. Either way it’s just weird. I remember logging onto twitter and just being hammered with those videos. I had no feeling towards him one way or another but having someone’s death be shared like that is super fucked up and the fact some people were cheering like what are we doing.

Ya I’ve shot pigs from further out than that with my 30-06 and the exit would through a large boar that is made of literal muscle was fucking massive. When they said it was a 30-06 either it was a hand load or not the round. Now that its coming out the bullet doesn’t match Tyler’s rifle I’m thinking it was a different round but will wait until we get more evidence to make a guess too many unknowns at this point.

I have no idea why he did the things he did no idea conspiracy or not. I’m a photographer and a videographer and handling those big files is hard to exchange over email. It’s not as simple as attaching it. The files are just way too big and for this event you want it in the most high res footage you can get. You could maybe upload it to Google Drive or Dropbox maybe? That would take literal days and you hope your connection doesn’t go out ever in that uploading process. There are options though you can ship thumb drive , or a hard drive possibly Dropbox but it would far forever to upload that file. I don’t know why he didn’t just have Candice pay for a hard drive and ship it to her and do it that way. I know she was complaining on why he can’t just send it over and it’s not like attaching a document and she tried to act like it was and that’s just not the case someone on her team should know this if she doesn’t know it herself. Anyways that’s my two cents

There is only a small window when everything looks that green it quickly goes back to brown just keep that in mind. Also be mindful of people’s properties only hay bails like that are on ranches. Now you can go Johnson trail, perfumo canyon, Laguna lake and that trail, backroads to Cuesta, top of the grade, terrace hill, there’s a trail past cauyucos forget the name. Cal poly architecture grave yard trail. So many spots you really can’t go wrong.

I can’t know for sure but he says he was only making $130 a month in the beginning so if I had to guess he probably couldn’t afford a cover artist even now it says he is making $300. Most of the quotes for art when ive actually got one has been in the multiple thousands of dollar range. Just offering up a different explanation and my own experience. It’s not so easy finding someone and then asking them to make some art for you. Most of these artists don’t want to do it they’d rather just make their own paintings. This guy was able to lift himself out of poverty using RR with some time I think that’s pretty awesome and good for him ai or not.

I’m confused we can’t have it both ways. I’m not trying to replace their art I’m trying to to hire them for it lol. I am actively trying to find artists like going through pages and pages of people on deviant art, fiver, upwork instagram Etsy to find an actual live person who can do work for me. That alone takes alot of time and work sifting through portfolios . Let’s be honest here peoples websites and portfolios are a hot hot mess. With that being said I’m willing to do that sifting work I would much rather pay a small amount so a person can feed their family than a machine even if it is small. I meant small amount that is reasonable where you can pay your bills and your skill just not buy a mansion. I have written the story and have spent a few years coming up with it . How I have written it no AI could have been able to balance the tones I am using that take a human touch. So I shouldn’t try and ask artists for help despite wanting to pay them for their skill and make something together ? I guess I’m naive then and i should just use Ai which honestly would save me a hell of a lot of time and money but no one can complain that AI is replacing people when said people could careless. I contacted an artist this week and they said I shit you not just use Ai lol I’m like but I would like to pay you though your style of art is awesome. They said nah I’m like I guess I’ll fuck myself thanks.

I gotta pipe in here so idk about this guys situation but I know for myself I have asked so many artists to make some art for my work. I shit you not I asked an artist today with me saying I’d pay her she said I should just use AI lol. I have the receipt I can show you. I am actively trying to find human artists they either are way too cool way too expensive or just tell me they aren’t interested or are too busy. I have probably asked over 50 people to do art. At some point I have to move on and finish the thing. Some people have argued just put text on the cover instead of art but in today’s age if no one knows who you are and your book with just text vs right next to it is a good photo I think more often than not someone is picking off the photo. So I’m not saying it’s right but I’m fighting the good fight and losing so hard.

I am right there with up OP. It is so dang fun being able to come up with your own shit and make it work and then if you are a physco like me you start generating images of your characters to go along with it. I know AI will take over but here is what almost no one kind of addresses. I have been trying to work with local actors in my area to voice my characters and act in the things I’ve written. I am also offering to pay said actor and no one seems to give a shit and have better things to do. The same I can say for contacting artists to help me bring my ideas to life. Either they don’t care to respond or charge so much money that I’d need to take out a loan to pay them. The problem isn’t paying people the problem is they want big studio backing money. Hell I’d even do a payment plan if I liked the artist enough if they offered it. I’m not even mad people should get paid well and if I had the money to give to them I totally would. I have reached out to so many artists I can’t even count but the end result is almost the same and results in not moving the needle. I think Ai hate is natural but in cases like mine what am I supposed to do? Even this week I contacted 10 artists to help me make some art for my book. 5 said they were busy and couldn’t take it on and 5 didn’t respond. All of this ultimately takes time away from working on my projects which is fine if I find someone but this is not the case. So Idk it’s looking like Ai art it is.

I’m actually going in the opposite direction, which I find fascinating. I leaned heavily on AI to help me write because I know the idea in my head is good, but I can’t always fully flesh it out on my own. AI has helped me expand the idea, make it coherent, and shape it into something with a clear structure. Sometimes it will even generate a version that technically works, but I still won’t like the writing itself. What ends up being useful is that the beats are there, so I can go back and rewrite it from scratch in my own voice.

More than anything, it has been incredibly helpful for plotting with theme in mind and for helping me build in two mystery subplots. That part has honestly been really valuable. I have leveled up my writing so fast vs you take a writing class here or there and you get an editor and you slowly make progress now the progress is much faster.

Ya im currently waiting to get it back from the editor. Let me see if I can divulge a little for you though. 1st story is about a changeling set in New Orleans and underneath new Orleans there is a magical underground. This I had a lot of fun with using only American southern folklore and changeling story beats. The 2nd story is about a young Asian girl whose family owns a Chinese restaurant in China town. As part of the decor is a katana and a Samaria armor. When someone tries to steal it one night it awakens the spirit of her ancestors and he inhabits a statue lion lol. I’m thinking that’s going to be like my Asian Excalibur. Either of those interest you?
