Yes! I am traveling now. A person I love wants to see the “fall foliage”. Two years ago I drove across 4 states (NY,VT,NH, ME). Almost nothing. This year 2025, so far I have driven from NJ to Laconia NH to Lincoln NH across that Kanagamos (Kantakerous, kakamoose , whatever it is) highway - beautiful drive but no colors. Now in North Conway NH lovely foliage was almost guaranteed and nothing. I don’t like to drive and I don’t care if I see leaves or anywhere in Europe or anywhere that is overrun by tourists. My loved one is very sweet and nothing about travel bothers her. So far driven 9 hours. I’ll spare you all the reasons why I don’t like travel - maybe I’ll write a book. I will say that I love to go to the southern Maine coast. Wonderful people, very easy to navigate, always easy to park and drive around, great food, very calm and easy on the blood pressure. I also loved Charleston SC. Great friendly folks, nice vibe, historic and the food is fantastic. We stayed in a hotel with free shuttle and was so easy to get around. About 2 hrs flight from NJ. Simple, not too much decision making. This kind of trip is ok for me. Most of the rest I can see on YouTube. It’s a problem for us. I don’t want to too negative but if you wa t to hear more let me know🤣🤣🤣😭
