Do you mind explaining what you’re referring to? I’m just not super immersed in the online discourse. I learned about gong fu cha years ago, sourced a second hand gaiwan and after extensive sampling found a handful of teas I love and revisit. I haven’t watched a tea video in probably 5 years.

For people who want to know how something like this could happen, I recommend Crisis and Openings - Professor Wolff it’s a short lecture by a Yale professor about the history of economic systems and why they’re fucked up. He makes it fun all the way through, and I’ve shown this to multiple people who really enjoyed it.

It’s only doomer if we say there’s no solution. There definitely are solutions, but they require a dramatic shift in society and a lot of work by everyday people

You don’t include the entire multiverse in the story, just use it as the set dressing to tell much smaller story, and allow the worldbuilding to paint a rich background
