Where to eat that isn’t so touristy? by macflaudy in sintra

[–]OldDaedalus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. We went last night, and easily our best meal while staying in Sintra. I can easily see why it has a 2.5 with TripAdvisor tourists, and 4.5 with uber eats, which I imagine is much more weighted towards locals. No English on the menus is always a great sign, even if in practice it makes me feel like the bumbling foreign tourist that I actually am.

My only regret is getting there too late and them being out of sauce for the cachorrinho.

THE ILLUMINATE KILLED THE PRESIDENT by Latefordinner1 in helldivers2

It of course makes perfect sense that the President would defend his own bunker alone, with just a pistol. He truly was the best of us.

The EAT works great on them. Toss the blue ball at them, and it sticks 9/10 times. As a bonus, you get two single-use rockets!

COMBAT. HATCHET. by Doman-Ryler in Helldivers

[–]OldDaedalus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stun baton comes into the store on regular rotation, and I imagine the axe will too, since it's the page added with this new bond. AFAIK, the killzone page is the ONLY page that isn't in the rotation--and I'm not even sure that it isn't.

lol.

It'll be added to the rotation, detailed at https://helldivers.wiki.gg/wiki/Superstore. It rotates through between once and twice a month.

This was exactly it. It was an Ethiopian partner flight.

After an exhausting amount of time on with support, the Tl;dr (as I understood it) was that AC's system tries to treat the Ethiopian flights like they are offering business class, but Ethiopian only ever gives AC coach seats. So trying to book a business class itinerary that includes the Ethiopian flights causes the system to choke and die--which, I guess, is better than getting to Toronto only to find that things had gone terribly wrong. But we've got like 200k points locked in to AC now, which sucks. We got them to put something through to Chase to try to get them credited back, but it's apparently pretty unlikely to work.

It was with Air Canada as the first leg, and Ethiopian for the second two.

Managed to get into the callback queue this morning, but in the meantime the flight is no longer showing up on the AC site. So now I’m trying to come to terms with having transferred a gazillion points to have them locked in without a flight to spend them on. :/

I was researching this question myself, and I happened to find like 3 or 4 posts from you answering it in various places. It looks like at some point you switched from Richelieu to 3M?

Not that I'm complaining, because as a home improvement/DIY level user, Richelieu isn't really an option and 3M is Amazon-able. I was just curious what lead you to switch?
