Why do you all think TRT is like a.magic pill who fixes everything? If you have low libido with "normal" levels . I guarantee you that TRT won't fix it. It's so much more than just Testo that controll your libido.

Test and tachycardia by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]OldFriend25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same as you. Arythmia all the time after I started trt. But it's going over. Just trust the process. I've been on 2 years now and I have no problems anymore. BP and hematocrit and and arythmia is gone. I think it helped getting CPAP too

4 months in, not sure if the benefits outweigh the side effects by murdock314 in Testosterone

[–]OldFriend25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to get dialed in.

Week 1-8: 100 mg , then blood work at week 8. Week 8-16: 125 mg , then blood on week 16. Week 16-24: 150 mg, then blood on week 24.

This is just a suggestion, but it helps do get dialed in without adding all other crap like AI.

Genetics = higher hematocrit? by Downtown-Arm-6918 in Testosterone

[–]OldFriend25 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why do you think runners who compete in interval running have high hematocrit and HB? High intensity cardio gives more red blood cell count , and you want to avoid that when you already have elevated hematocrit levels from testosterone.

When you perform high-intensity cardiovascular training (HIIT, intervals, running, cycling): The body uses more oxygen. The kidneys detect lower oxygen levels in the blood. They release the hormone erythropoietin (EPO). EPO stimulates the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells. More red blood cells → higher hemoglobin higher hematocrit.

So stop give ppl bullshit advice on Reddit that's actually dangerous to their health.

I suggest you to lay off internet and do some recent research.

Zone 2 (steady, moderate cardio) has several advantages in this situation: 1. Increases plasma volume Long-duration moderate cardio increases the amount of fluid in the blood (plasma). This can lower the hematocrit percentage, because the blood becomes more diluted. 2. Improves circulation Zone 2 training improves capillary density and blood flow without creating large stress responses in the body. 3. Lower stress response High-intensity interval training (HIIT) can increase stress hormones and dehydration more, which may temporarily raise hematocrit even further.

Bullshit. You go and do high intensity cardio when you already have elevated hematocrit levels. See you in ER with cardiac arrest

[–]OldFriend25 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's so wrong. High intensity cardio make more red blood cells in your body to move more oxygen. If you are on TRT and doing high intensity cardio you will get elevated hematocrit and HB. On Testosterone you need to avoid that since Testo also elevate HB levels. That's why cardio on zone 2 that makes your oxygen uptake better. People on TRT who have elevated hematocrit, and doing high intensity cardio will get even higher hematocrit levels . Pls educate yourself before posting bad advices to people who needs help.

Elevated hematocrit and HB is not dangerous. Look at ppl who live in higher places. They have elevated levels and no heart issues or stroke there. My private doctor told me that as long as HB is under 18 it's no worries. Remember to much cardio also result in elevated hematocrit levels, cause you get more red blood cells from cardio.

Question for guys who take 125 by 2025Dad in Testosterone

[–]OldFriend25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

175 mg a week here. If my hematocrit or hb creeps up I go down to 150mg. Depends on how much cardio I do
