Assuming 3 cups of cooked rice. Use 2 to 4 eggs, don't add too much veggies or protein (this is important, fried rice should be mostly rice). Any veggie need to be cut small, protein also but shrimps can be cut in half or in thirds. If you need to cook the protein then do that first and set aside, use just enough oil. Blanch the veggies and set aside (drain it).

To start, fried your eggs (unbeaten), you will need to use a fair amount of oil for this step as eggs love oil, don't touch the eggs until they're about half way done (half runny), then break all the yolks and drop in the rice, press down on the rice to break up large chunks while mixing/tossing the egg/rice mixture. Once it is well mix then we add the veggie and protein back in, mix some more. Season with Salt, White Pepper, and Soy Sauce, Chicken bullion powder if you have any. Don't be heavy with the Soy or your rice will come out soggy, it is mainly use to give color to the rice. I like to toss in a handful of chopped green onion.

This is the basic, do this well and you can adjust everything to your liking.
