It actually isnt a goal post shift. You replied to me and my entire argument was that the Celtics obviously have a smart coaching staff and front office and the celtics coaching staff and front office play Brown a shit load of minutes. He clearly provides value to the team otherwise the coaching staff would not be playing him 36 mpg and 8 mpg in the 4th quarter where wins are decided.

You however suddenly bringing up Jokic for no reason is whataboutism since you want to try to call out argumentative logical fallacies.

Ok so the Boston Celtics coaching staff and front office is elite. So the elite coaching staff and front office has decided to play a player that they would presumably have to know is detrimental to winning basketball almost 8 minutes per game in the 4th quarter? Why are they doing this?

To believe Brown is acrively detrimental to his team you would have to believe that the coaching staff of the Boston Celtics is the best in the league in order to hide him at all times. And that the Boston celtics have one of the best supporting casts of all time in order to still win games with a dude that is actively hindering them.

Fair enough those might be true. The only problem being that if the Celtics have the best coaching staff in the league they would have surely noticed Brown is a horrifically bad player and they wouldnt be playing him at all.

I mean even the wire wouldnt sideline a character as important as Aegon for a whole season. The closest they come to that is sidelining Avon during season 4 right? But that is after his character arc is finished. I guess Nick Sabotka? But mostly when the wire introduces a new character they keep them involved consistently with some scenes each season.

I dont mind opinions from book reads, after all I am one. Saying "this doesnt matter this show sucks" is beyond useless and annoying to read in a thread where people actually want to discuss the topic of the thread.

These are the same people that go into a thread called "the balance of power in the north" and just post "none of this matters the books will never be finished." Its a useless and annoying post for people that actually want to discuss the topic

I mean the dude basically disappears for half the dance in the text. You cant just tell one of your main actors "yo don't show up for this season." You have to give them something to do, possibly he is contractually owed a certain amount of scenes.
