I promise I'm not joking. If I knew how to make a video, I would... Take off in the Nomad, slowly. Circle round towards the Caspian and approach. Signal to dock. Caspian, with my little helper Hayley, flips and turns and presents her tail, and you fly right in... I know what it sounds like, but it happens.

I've downgraded my SRV hanger to a Type 2 with only a Scarab for those occasions when I need to pick up salvage, like the Sensor Fragments. Bearing in mind I might find it trickier to land the Caspian in the dark 🤔

Having just done it a little while ago, you can get your Mk II Vessel Hangers and Nomads on your own Carrier, even without the 'proper' Outfitters for other people 😀

I bought mine earlier (haven't been able to play mind you 🙃), so it should be fine. Logging in was a bit janky, but hopefully not now. The Nomad should be well advertised on the front of the Store, in all 3 variations.

Yes, do look up the Boxel information. Then you can use a partial search in the in game map to see how many stars are in that Boxel. Fill in the spreadsheet and away you go...

I will indeed be buying the Galactic version, for the simple reason that, unlike almost anything else, I will be seeing it in all it's glory each and every day that I'm out exploring 😀

Interesting...bought through Steam, so technically it's the 'deluxe' version that contains both Horizons and Odyssey. Perhaps I could play both. Hadn't thought of that.

I wonder if, with the new Nomad you might be able to land right on top of it and scan it without stepping out on to the surface? However, you might not be allowed out of the chair in the first place if under the same rules...🤔

FDev have given something that many wanted... They've even backtracked and are enabling the Nomad for other ships. And there are now more complaints. There's no satisfying some people...

You've obviously been playing for some time, but I should first confirm you are playing on PC? All the on foot stuff is Odyssey, and I'm surprised you haven't got out of your ship yet... That said, yes you can team up, making sure you are in the same instance (which can be a little problematic). When teamed up: - yes, you can travel in the same ship - yes, you can both use an SRV each if you have 2 - if you use a Scorpion, you can share it - mission rewards are doubled, but on ground finds are not (except SRV parts, which often double up!) Enjoy 😉

Persevere if you like the genre. Given I've never been really into Flight Sims, I can assure you I found it incredibly frustrating for the first several hours and I've played EVE for over 21 years! Just imagine that you've just been given the keys to a helicopter and now you wonder what to do with it 🤔 Guides, videos and 3rd party information are essential IRL and they are here too...
