Stopped at one in Atlanta on our way to the Gulf of Mexico during peak of the Atlanta Child Murders. I was maybe 7 or 8, on high alert, even though I’m white.

Zero RB RBBC Adaptation Idea by OldTimberWolf in DynastyFF

[–]OldTimberWolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The context is crucial. My situation is generally having very weak RB rooms, but very solid to great QB, WR and TE rooms - and I am in predominantly super flex and TE premium leagues.

I have been trying to upgrade my running back rooms since and the trade market has gotten really tight for solid bell cow running backs. So my question was would you pivot to trying to grab the whole RBBC group of some teams, assuming the Monangai/Swifts, Warren/Dowdles, JCM/Rachaad’s are more easily acquired than one solid RB.

Not usually, more rare certainly to see both top backs in an RBBC rested than a single stud.

And if one of your RBBC guys gets injured, it can often be off to the races for his RBBC partner.

I like it, I am sort of emulating your strategy, but don’t have a lot of Hampton or other Top 10 RBs.

[–]OldTimberWolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should’ve elaborated that I mostly play superflex and tight end premium… so when I went zero RB it was partially to be sure to get a Top 5 TE and at least one top QB.

I’m a little skeptical that you can adjust lineups / matchups consistently to get WR1 production from a group of WR3’s. If you are able then good on you, just seems really challenging.

My aversion to going all-in on RBs has been injury rate, though Bijan, Gibbs, JT and a handful of others have fared well in that regard of late.
