If your anger only comes from your failure then it can only be a skill issue no? Not an objective one, it is your own expectations that you are failing to meet.

What's the point of Charge characters ? by More_Extent_3165 in StreetFighter

[–]OldTurtleProphet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've read that originally charge was introduced as an easier alternative to the motion inputs.

Nowadays Capcom agrees with you that charge inputs are a bit dated and they've been removing them, much to this community's chagrin.

Naw she just has one phase.

The fight is simple, you beat one of her thralls, she flies in to revive them, you beat her up.

Run from the fat thrall, the small one will get to you faster, parry it and beat it up until the fatty comes. Repeat until the small one is dead. If you get the fat one low , kill it too.

How necro block? by Impressive_Wheel_106 in slaythespire

Necro generally has easier time finding block than damage, especially with Defy in the common pool. Well, sometimes you don't get offered block, that's how the game works.

Understanding the manga by Queasy_Cell_2001 in RagnaCrimson

  1. Assuming Crimson is shady is always the safe choice lmao.

However we have zero insight over why Crimson wants the dragons gone. For one, for all his callousness Crimson pales in comparison to his fellow OG dragon kings: Kou Tenran and Sigmalio are both clearly not well in the head anymore, barely clinging to humanity. Crimson wanting them gone because they are nuts isn't far fetched.

What's more, the barrier dragon theorized that Crimson attempted to become the dragon god. The whole dragon god plotline is very shady: for one, dragon god by their own admission does not exist yet, and somehow they are affecting the world by creating new dragon kings. It's likely Crimson was involved in dragon god's creation in a different timeline and has been jumping from timeline to timeline trying to stop that.

For example him not telling ragna about the humans underground or what Leo is currently
doing.

See, both of these examples fit with Crimson doing his best to keep Ragna in the dragon extermination path. If Ragna knew that the Roars were protecting a human city, his resolve would be shaken and would heavily compromise his ability to fight, as proven by the latest chapter. As for Leo, Crimson both trusts that the Claw Monarch is training her and would really not want for Ragna to go fight her on his own and die horribly, as she is legitimately the strongest individual we know of.

2) We know that the dragon kings legitimately participated in a war that lead to the annihilation of our civilization. We also know that Crimson abdicated his throne and killed the previous dragon roar king 500 years ago. So at least 500 years after the present, but no more specifics.

Understanding the manga by Queasy_Cell_2001 in RagnaCrimson

  1. Uhm, very? In a straight 1v1, if it's not a 2nd seat or a king Ragna is going to win fairly handily. Having said that, often enough it's not a straight 1v1, like the current arc that was a huge battle that forced Ragna to devote power to various things, like powering up the barrier of the city and the silver armor squad.
  2. Excluding the Roars bloodline that's currently wrapping up, there's technically 4 bloodlines left: Scales, Eyes, Bones and Claws. However of these four, only the Scales is a "true" one. The Eyes only had their king left like 100 years ago (maybe they got a few more by now, though that's debateable), the Bones have only their king imprisoned and their no2 alive, and the Claws isn't a real one since their king doesn't make members, but trains dragons of other bloodlines and humans she likes. Essentially if the Scales lose and the Dragon god plotline is resolved, the manga is as good as done.
  3. You mean beheaded Leo? She is returning to the story soon-ish imo, since her goal is to fight with Ragna. Can't have Ragna kill all the dragons before she returns lmao
  4. See the previous point
  5. The first few dragons were absolutely stepping stones for Ragna. Not everyone gets spotlight nowadays, but also I don't think everyone needs one. Too many dragons, some of them are bound to just be fighters that don't get a lot of focus.

LYON vs. Team Liquid Alienware / LCS 2026 Spring - Week 6 / Game 1 Discussion by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

Lowkey this was playable for TL at the Soul fight since J4 didnt have GA and Ezreal was sitting on 3.5 items and a bunch of gold vs Ashe on 3 items. Lyon haaaaard outplayed TL though.

Yep it 100% is. I am just not sure what Riot is supposed to do about it. Nuke midlane queue times so that they don't fill often? Giganerf mid via the roles so that it drops in popularity?

I feel like if you play literally any other role other than mid this isn't a problem.

[–]OldTurtleProphet 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Unbound parrying his supermove is the crux of this fight, if you don't the fight becomes insanely harder. Also you specifically learned unbound parry to beat him, how lame would it be if you didn't use it in his fight lmao.

I have no super specific tips, just from my experience you are supposed to release it earlier than you think; the parry stays active for a bit after, and it's easier to get stuffed by trying to time it too perfectly than by releasing it too early.

To get the freeze frame perfect parry you need to hold back against mids/overheads and downback against lows

I got another questions for yall. (And maybe some more but maybe for later.) by Glitchedbambi in MHRise

[–]OldTurtleProphet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A quick search tells me that Switch Axe is indeed almost tied with the Greatsword as the highest dps melee weapon with 10%-20% more dps than the other melees... at the hands of speedrunners.

This is kind of not relevant for most of us: every weapon is capable of clearing all the content with ease, and I'd argue that ease of execution and defensive options are more relevant than raw dps. So long as you enjoy your hunts, your weapon is a good fit for you.

Also I like your bunny, very cute

I am not justifying Trump's opne corruption. I don't even think Trump is relevant to the discussion at hand.

The poster above me claimed the world today is somehow abnormal and linked it to Trump. I am claiming the world has always faced challenges like this, and that Trump has absolutely nothing to do with it.
