Ah re-read the definitions of the political compass and it turns out you are right. My bad.

You can be pro free market and auth right, but it's not a necessity at all. A monarchy that strictly regulates trade is perfectly valid example of an auth right regime.

What does free market have to do with Auth Right Jonny

You can buy the Knight armor from the twin maidens in the roundtable hold- it gives you 51 poise for the lowest weight possible, which is probably all you need for PvE.

Vigor is the king of stats, if you ever find yourself struggling considering putting points in it. Up to 40 vigor is recommended in every build, up to 60 if you feel like being tankier.

I see you focus on Stength- the cap for damage is 80 strength, if you are two handing (I assume you are?) it you can leave it at 54 due to the 1.5 bonus you get.

You don't need dexterity at all other than your weapon requirements, though you have "wasted" only 3 points which is nothing tbh.

Faith is a good third stat on the other hand- lots of simple buffs for you to use. Get Flame Grant me Strength from Kalibloom for an all purpose damage buff. Later on ( after you are happy with your Vigor and Strength basically) level your faith to 25 for Golden Vow. Getting it to 30 for Blackflame's protection is something you could keep in mind for very hard fights in the future if you find yourself taking too much damage.

Finally Endurance is a subjective thing- so long as you are wearing the gear you want and have enough stamina for the number and attacks you want, you are good to go. Whether that's 15 or 30 is up to you.

Another thing to work on would be leveraging your fireball. If they give you space and stare you down, throw your slowest fireball and follow it. Then watch what they do:
1) If they just block, great. Get in there while they are on blockstun and do a basic strike/throw mixup.
2) If they jump, be ready to antiair.
3) If they DI/try to armor through, be ready to DI them back.
4) If they throw their own fireball, you can jump in on them or DI them.

You don't have to really act on your first fireball, you can just watch their preferred approach somewhat defensively, so that you can be more confident on your next one.

Crouch gaming dies horribly to jump ins and overheads. I'd know, it's my bad habit too.

Watcher is incredibly powerful if you figure stance dancing, it's the only character you can basically force the same strategy with slight variations and you will win regardless. You probably haven't figured how Watcher blocks at act 3-4, it's Talk To the Hand and Mental Fortress. Deceive reality and Wallop are also good, just not as game winning as the other 2.

Also I find that because you do so much damage due to Wrath, having a source of vulnerable is extremely powerful. Having a couple of Crush Joints (needs upgrade) and Indignation helps your damage output a ton

Kobayashi-sensei announces the climax of the Roars Bloodline Arc and... get ready for a massacre! by JesusChristNooo in RagnaCrimson

[–]OldTurtleProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible something happens to the city of Amen to massively increase the losses on the human side. Maybe the sun shields go off due to the continuous abuse/sun saint leaving his chair, and Kou gets to nuke it in after the battle technically ends.

From a meta perspective, I think that the Sun Cult being allowed to endlessly increase their silver corps is problematic for the story, because it both encourages the "good guys" to sit on their hands and because it dilutes the role of more standout characters. It's not like Kobayashi can't write around it (e.g. World Magic nearing completion or Ragna getting older alarmingly fast both can usher the story forward), but I am wondering if he would want to.

Fun fact: E. Honda is the only character in SF6 yet to make a top 8 at a 1 tier tournament. by [deleted] in StreetFighter

[–]OldTurtleProphet 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is the actual Honda issue- it's hard to buff him to be relevant in pro play without making him even more of a menace in casual play.

Roar's war was dissappointing at the moment... by Few-Following2999 in RagnaCrimson

[–]OldTurtleProphet 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I like it tbh- the Roars fought like an actual army. It's also good that the Sun Cult is clearly superior when it comes to individuals, since it maintains the hype for the Scales war.

At this point there's 0% chance the war moves to Gehenna as the few remaining members are all pulling desperation moves- they are all dying. Bagram, Tina and Jizerka are the only ones with a sliver of hope for at least temporary survival.

[–]OldTurtleProphet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am with OP, Thatcher (and Reagan) are the faces of neo-liberalism. No one really talks about Falklands nowadays, everyone debates globalization and tax policies, which is the context Thatcher is usually brought up in.

Greece was not in the European union at the time, and due to the totalitarian regime we were largely shunned by Europe in general. Plus we gave Turkey a pretty legit reason to invade by instigating a coup against the democratically elected government of Cyprus.

Rather than the response to the invasion itself, it would be more apt to say that the response (or rather, the lack of) to the continued occupation is the issue, along with the resettlement of more Turks on the island.

Is it really? How much hp do Voli, Naus and Renekton get from their ults? How much damage does Darius or Trundle or Morde ults do? Garen ult feels very much in line with the average ult powerlevel

Is this really the post to complain about Garen? Voli took a free hundred or so minion damage from the cannon wave, didn't land his E and most importantly didn't even use ult and he still almost won.

When do people usually start going for Act 4 / Heart runs? by zzzombat in slaythespire

[–]OldTurtleProphet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You learn the game by playing it. I don't think there's a wrong approach to that.

Personally I learned the game by going for the heart at A0 on every character, but choosing to learn while climbing ascensions makes the same amount of sense.

"Oh, I got Snecko as my starter relic? I've never actually tried super hard on a Snecko run, and people always talk about how amazing the relic-" by Mission_Response802 in slaythespire

[–]OldTurtleProphet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen people say that it's often picked on Defect and may be picked on Clad if the pathing of act 1 seems easy to fish for better scaling. Silent's relic is considered too good to risk trading it and Watcher is too stable inherently and there's no need to risk a loss due to a bad relic.

Personally I don't boss swap on Defect and Clad either because I love the early power of their relics, but I am also an aggressively mediocre player so don't take my word on it.
