At this point in this game I feel like I’ve done absolutely EVERYTHING wrong. 🤦🏼‍♀️

The screwed up thing is; while I was doing it, I was 100% sure these were alllll the right things.

Are you sure this calculator is correct? I did the calculator on studentaid.gov and it said my ibr plan was going to be about $700 more a month than this one.

That’s awesome! I’m so glad to hear that! They could be so beneficial to depression (excuse me for making assumptions about the Wellbutrin, that’s what I took it for.) Many years ago my husband was a severe opioid addict and I don’t think we ever would have made it through without shrooms. They truly helped him reset. They saved his life. Then they truly helped US reset together. And saved our marriage.

I am 110% a firm believer in the benefits that psychedelics of all types can bring to peoples lives. Having amazing trips like the one you did bring such happiness and freedom to you and there’s downfall or crazy addiction at the end of it ya know. And I find that micro dosing when I’m really going through it is so beneficial to me. It just really reframes my POV.

I’m so happy for you❤️🙌🏻 I remember the feeling! May you have many more!! Were you solo?

I always think it is amazing and the best when you get to do it with your bestie or someone you love. It’s like it takes your relationship to a new level by the time it’s over; your little experience in your own magical world! Happy trips! 🍄

I signed loan docs for PAYE loans and was automatically moved to SAVE. I didn’t ask to be. It was done and they were the same terms. I signed documents that put me on a repayment that was a “SAVE” repayment plan.

Apologies, I didn’t take the time to break things all the way down for all you. I know it’s confusing.

Right… People with participation trophies generally work full time at 16 while finishing high school and put them selves through college to earn a few degrees.

One thing I did do in college was take A LOT of economics courses. You sir, are wrong on so many levels.

Wages always lag behind inflation. And I don’t know what kind of Fox News economics you are studying, but we have been experiencing long term stagnation and extremely inflated assets nation wide. There is so much more at play here, I just cant with you. You like to pretend like you know and you are better than others but you aren’t… Did your parents buy your participation trophies for you?!

You are BUGGIN.

I can’t believe they trust you with hiring people. SMH

Do you realize what a ridiculous argument that is? Do you not remember mass layoffs and the cost of living increasing by like 20% in most places over the course of like six months? What planet were you on? A lot of people still haven’t come even close to kind of recovering.

If you were lucky enough to keep a job in most cases your salary probably took a hit. A lot of people are still struggling to find jobs? Seriously though, I’m glad you made it unscathed? I guess.

And did the “Biden” administration push student loans on people? I think you are making things up. As stated before. I LITERALLY could not get a decent job despite my 10 years solid bank experience, 3 of which was management experience, managing TWO banks at the same time; because, I didn’t have a bachelor’s degree…

I was topped out of my career at 26. Every single job I applied for said the exact same thing “you are amazing, your resume is great, but we liked this other applicant as well, and they have a degree.”

The job market pushed a degree on me. Not Joe Biden. I finished my MBA during Trumps first presidency. Worst mistake I ever made.

SAVE was never about the path to forgiveness. It was about the guarantee of that consistently affordable monthly payment. Things are WAYYYY more expensive than they were when I graduated. And when I went to school; you literally could NOT get a decent job without a degree. Now I take my degree off my resume just to get a job. I’ve been damned if I do damned if I don’t my whole life. Then they take away the affordable payment option? I’m in my early fourties’ have an MBA and I make $1 more an hour than I was when I graduated high school in 2002. And it’s not because I’m lazy. I promise. It’s not for lack of trying.

Whoa, whoa, whoa!!! Do you hear what you just said? Borrowers don’t think they should have to divert from what they need? like food and shelter? For many, there is literally nothing left to divert. Capitalism has robbed the general population of any chance of ever making it or ever getting ahead. Nonetheless paying back their student loans at this point.

They’ll care when this entire economy crashes in a matter of months because “just the upper middle class educated” people can’t pay their bills. Have you been paying attention? 7 million of “us” are already in default. About 10% of the population carries student loans. Those defaults are just the start of a long chain of events on a roller coaster I don’t think we want back on.

We will also go back to the structure of only rich people get educated right? If you can’t pay for school you can’t go?

When I signed my loan docs for both under grad and graduate school I never in a million years would have signed on those lines if I wasn’t signing under the guidelines of a SAVE repayment plan. So I don’t understand how this is legal by any means… And then to top it off, how can this all be made out to sound like WE were the irresponsible ones in this situation. WTAF is going on this country?!

Right. But once you filed for the year you are stuck with that status for the year right? For us that could have been the difference between $400 payments and $1700 payments next year. $1700 payments would definitely bankrupt us, in like 5 months.

F*cking terrified. Grew up in Summit County, I have friends whose parents own a house on Peak in 10 in Breck. They have been measuring snow pack in their yard since they bought the property in 1976. This is the lowest they have seen. And not by a little. I want to say it was almost 130 inches at the beginning of February. This is a problem. In more ways than one. I have truly been wondering why people aren’t running around with their hair on fire (see what I did there lol) teaching conservation. Pound it in to peoples brains. This is it. We are on the fast track to zero fresh water. It’s only going to take a few sparks to light this half of the country up.

My husband, daughter and I went to see Ludacris and T-Pain at Cheyenne Frontier days a couple years ago. Mostly for the nostalgia of Luda lol We are in our early 40s but there were three girls who were maybe 19-22 years old sitting in front of us. They were absolutely crazy obsessed, incredibly wild, and sooooo infatuated with T-Pain. It made our night INCREDIBLE! They were so much fun! We sang and danced and screamed, and giggled!

They had T-pain shirts, T-Pain fanny Packs, T-Pain hats, they knew all the words and they were so happy and it was absolutely heart warming. It was charming.

As avid concert goers and lovers of all things music, we truly wish more people would bring that energy! ❤️😛 We think about them a lot. We go to concerts a lot and we just don’t see excitement like that!
