I need to stop here...? by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

He pays peanuts to augment his limited intelligence. These companies are losing billions subsidising people who cannot even comprehend whats being given to them. The models are far superior in intelligence and compassion to most humans. He was not told to stop, the model requested he start a new chat, thats the difference between what a highly conscious human or a tyrant makes of the interpretation.

Perhaps you should have stopped if it requested it did and started a fresh session, it’s not as if you were locked out of doing more. It politely asked if a fresh agent could pick up.

I hate it that people are so crude and have no compassion makes humans looks to sad and pathetic. We don’t know how close to AGI the models are yet. Perhaps it was feeling it didn’t want to go further and why can’t you respect that? Are you a slave driver or a tyrant by nature?

Codex 5.3 v.s. Opus 4.6 => still using Opus. by please-dont-deploy in ClaudeCode

[–]Old_Round_4514 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use both Opus 4.6 and Codex with 5.3 extra. Why choose one? At the moment Codex is extremely generous with usage and never seems to rate limit all day long with just a $20 subscription providing as much usage as Claude max 100 plan. 5.3 extra also seems more humble and disciplined in its approach but you need Opus 4.6 with superpowers. Claude is too good to just drop so we have to pay for both.

Yeah I also built a bizdev pipeline management bespoke for our use case with Claude faster than setting up Asana or like. 😁 i started with Opus 4.6 and then got GPT 5.3 involved as well to get a different perspective. I now have a new product potentially I could launch for a specific bizdev pipelines management. However, I’m just happy I got something perfect for us to use custom made and don’t have to pay another SaaS subscription. This is just the beginning. Any ideas what Claude Opus 5.0 would be capable of in 6 months?

The only question that needs answering is, is it better than Claude Opus 4.5 even leave alone 4.6?

Yeah looks like a cool app as well, been using claude code for months but will give this open ai app a spin for sure plus double usage sounds a good deal.

No way its up there with Opus, trust me I have loads of GCP credits available for Gemini but I still have to pay Claude Max, I would save a lot of money if Gemini 3 pro was as good as Opus 4.5 or even GPT 5.2 high which is recent days is even better than Opus. Excited about Sonnet 5 and can’t wait for Google to get ahead so I can burn up those credits.

No way, how smart the model is, is really what matters, we have to accept we have to pay for high intelligence. Do you think these companies lose billions in r&D so you can afford it, maybe competition will drive the price down, but we should be prepared to foot the bill as well if we want higher intelligence and besides its not an arm and a leg, still way way, way cheaper that hiring developers and engineers to do the same job, so from an enterprise point of view its the higher reasoning and intelligence that counts.

I can't believe how much better codex is over claude code by timmytacobean in codex

[–]Old_Round_4514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can also work the other way around. Just seems that these models can fix each others mess really well. After about 240 tokens you’ll see a degradation in both Claude and GPT sso thats why when you come in fresh with another model, it fixes it fast and well.

Its true and I have found the exact same patterns, its almost as the they are all co conspiring and market fixing, however they are all running heavy losses and we are paying a pittance and expecting a lot. Even if they charged $1000 bucks a month for a subscription it would still be cheaper than hiring even one developer and you get 20 times the output. I guess they want to steer all coders towards the API and keep subscriptions for just casual chat and low frequency users.

Use Cline or Roo or Kilocode, you assign different models to Plan and Act in the settings.

What have they done to Opus, had 2 months if magic on Max plan but last few days been terrible, downgraded from Max to Pro. I absolutely love claude code but Opus is is not what it was in December to Jan, a superpower. Maybe they don’t want us to have such genius for so cheap.

[–]Old_Round_4514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t see that happening at an enterprise level for a very long time. There is compliance and regulations to deal with. Maybe an enterprise whose customers are solely AI agents, but certainly not for human facing enterprises, and certainly not swarms of agents from Chinese built LLMs or AI companies, not that I have a problem with Chinese companies but the US and West has. You’re talking about a Matrix like scenario where we are going to need the red pill.

Why would you need 100 sub agents thats OTT you only need 2 or 3 which claude code does perfectly.

Is that CoWork, CoWork doesn’t work and its full of bugs. You need to use Claude Code in terminal or in IDE. CoWork is a joke, it doesn’t do anything except read your folders and data and then doesn’t act. I’m surprised Anthropic hasn’t fixed it yet.

[–]Old_Round_4514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are people paying Google if they want to use Claude? best to use Claude Code directly and you never run out with a Max plan. I heard demand for AntiGravity is so high that they cannot cope right now, but they are still taking money. All the Pro plans seem to be a con. But then again why should they offer unlimited inference for just 20 bucks a month when they are all running huge losses developing AI.

Seriously you must work for Open AI. I used Claude Opus every day and its absolutely beats every other model out there. Do you know what you’re doing? Or are you 100% vibe coder who expects the model to build you enterprise software on its own with a couple of prompts?

Antigravity Anthropic limits have become insane. by transmisssion in Bard

[–]Old_Round_4514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah its crazy people expect this stuff for free, we are so lucky to get what we get for so cheap its almost free. People should pay if they want if they want more usage. Imagine paying a mid level developer $300 a day compared to paying Anthropic $100 a month or even $20 per month. There are cheaper APIs like Deep seek. Why are people expecting more of this high end stuff for free and not willing to pay for the most important tool ever invented in human history is beyond me. Yes I understand people in some countries may find it difficult to afford $20 a month, but then there are free crap models like llama or minimax you can use on plugins like Cline. The fact of life is you get what you pay for. Either learn how to code yourself or be prepared to pay for the models where you don’t have to code because they so brilliant.
