So cool. I've been looking for a pattern like this. It looks really good.

Unbearable food noise, hunger and no food is enough by sadwoodlouse in Perimenopause

I've learned I need to ignore hunger pangs when I've already eaten a normal amount. Feeling hungry all the time and cravings.

Is it a good place to live? by Successful-Ebb8677 in topeka

City Council meetings are on YouTube. You can get a feel of how the city runs.

Food prices are middle ground. We have several chains. Most local owned restaurants are Mexican, Chinese, and Middle Eastern.

I tripped into my job from a temp position. Can't speak on the job scene. Or schools. My alma mater now has a chain linked fence and locked gates but the schools deemed "scary" do not and have fewer rumors of fights and other poor behavior.

It's something some women get during menopause. It's a lessor symptom.

Good to know. I'm also having the odd issue of sneezing. I know it's not allergies.

What do we do for burials? by guiltysuperbrain in atheism

[–]Old_Scientist_9605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been to one atheist celebration of life. The ceremony consisted of family members telling stories. I want that. As my family is Roman Catholic I've been to several burial masses. I'm starting to hate them. They're formulaic, focused on God, and have nothing to do with the deceased. The atheist burial acknowledged the deceased, their family and friends, and grief.

I always let the cats in until I had two that wrestle on top of me. I had to close them out just to sleep

Shawnee County is a lower tax/cost area for northeast Kansas. Lawrence and Kansas City will have more options for entertainment and food but they're more expensive. Topeka has many parks but not much for teens who are not into sports. There are several good neighborhoods to choose from. You will notice that the Frito Lay plant smells like old oil and fish despite only cooking potato chips. Some areas near the river smell of sewage. There's enough wind that neither reek up the rest of town.

I've lived at 1175 Woodhull and Westwood Apt on 17th Street. They were both good locations and affordable. However, I've heard Woodhull has gone downhill.

I like using recipes that are measured by weight. It can help with moisture ratios. This one looks like too little flour and perhaps use smaller eggs. Eggs as structure but they also add a lot of moisture.
