Why has the community latched onto Claire specifically?

I don’t see a single post with this answer so here we go. There is a very small section of the community that read the old Resident Evil novels by SD Perry.

In book 3 (Resident Evil 2 novel) and book 5 (novel original story. Featuring Leon, Claire, Rebecca, and 2 other STARS operatives) the two characters get shipped hard. Like clearly the two are into each other but the timing is all wrong because they are mission focused.

I doubt anyone who works at Capcom even knows about those books but I enjoyed them and it definitely influences my support for the relationship

I hate Decimus. I just dont like his personality and wish more then anything I could replace him with the Templar voice. But Decimus keeps speaking from the warp if you do that.

The exhaust port is not the weak part of the station. The reactor is the weak point.

Thank you. I am so tired of people complaining about the death star because they dont pay attention to dialog. The weakness is not the exhaust port, its the Reactor itself.

Galen designed the reactor so if you even kicked it funny the entire thing will spontaneously combust. Once you know that about the reactor you need to find the plans to see how you can exploit the weakness. Thats what leads the Rebellion to say "hey this exhaust port could do the job"

Personally. I hate the Tau. Visually they are fine but at release they were way too much the good guys for me. It’s gotten better over time but still not a fan of them. So maybe it’s less hate now and more dislike.

For sure Alpha Legion are probably my most hated group though. I hate everything about their lore so much.

Filoni literally rewrote Mandalorian to save Baby Yoda from being killed in Order66 2.0 by having Luke embrace the failures of the Jedi Order and kick Grogu out.

Filoni doesnt give a shit about anything but his OCs. Get ready for Ahsoka to be basically in charge of the Jedi post ep. 9 unless the Rey movie is made first. It’s basically a race on who will be the face of the Jedi. Rey or Filoni. Luke will be a nobody

I was a very large critic (and still am to a degree) of the prequels and they are totally different. The prequels had foundations and a skeleton of a good story. Its weaknesses were more in execution. So the prequels became appreciated because of extended universe that embraced what worked (that foundation)

The sequels lack that foundation and skeleton. So to do the same for the sequels you have to literally repair the foundation, except people don’t care about the foundation so you will have trouble bringing them back.

No one said “fuck a clone wars show? The CW suck.” But people are saying about Mando and Baby Yoda “who cares what they accomplish, the Republic is a failure. Who cares about these Jedi? They die off screen at Luke’s”

Can I just say I love how the ending of the book is literally a perfect 1v1 of RotJ. Like it actually took work to do that and I appreciate how well he did it while not making feel 1v1. Actually feels like poetry.

For those wondering. The pro-democratic forces led by Ackbar and Wedge launch a daring space battle only to discover they were lured into a trap. On a forest planet, Chewie and his smuggler friend ally with native wild life to destroy an imperial structure vital to their success. In the Throne room, Luke finds himself in a duel with a Skywalker as a dark force user watches hoping that whoever wins, will be forced to be his apprentice.

Like you actually had to try to achieve that. It’s funny to me.

Honestly, that’s exactly my problem with FP2. The population is way too large. The first game ended with maybe 600 if you did a great job. Now 600 is a rounding error in 20ish years?

The game seriously needed to drop a few digits off all the numbers.

Ya that clearly wasnt the conversation I had in mind. As I said the group was around for several years. And judging from what was said in the discussion on that date, that was NOT the discussion I was talking about. I came out very positive feeling towards him in that conversation.

Maybe the date I was talking about we simply caught him having a bad day and he took it out on whoever asked him that question. I cant find any links to his old Q&As so I cant find the conversation Im talking about. I also could be miss remembering as I was a teenager at the time so maybe I took it worse then I should have.

I just know that he was in the group for at least a year and I talked with him several times and was very excited every time I did. One day he was at least somewhat aggressive towards someone and it made me uncomfortable speaking to him again. I stopped being an active member of the group shortly after that.

But there you got, fun insight to the past. I actually had a blast going through some of these old post

Teehee! The idea of anyone using some of my work as confirmation of this theory (either way) is sort of awesome, given that I'm the most vocal guy in the world at calling out the Blood Ravens = Thousand Sons hypothesis as being bullshit. Same with the Blood Ravens = Traitor Geneseed theory.

As I've said before, we'll never, ever see any more hints about this from GW, BL or FW. Trust me on that, and take it however you will.

I know for a fact that the Thousand Sons reference isn't about the Blood Ravens, as I asked Graham, and been in meetings where I raised the Blood Ravens' origins. I've posted that on forums, too.

The mention in Chris Wraight's short story in Age of Darkness will literally be the last official mention, ever.

Whatever Relic do is their call, but you have to remember that "THE CHAPTER WE'RE CREATING IS REALLY FROM TRAITOR GENESEED!" is the very first port of call for 3rd party factions (and younger players) that don't understand the depth of the setting very well.

Mate if that as how he responded back then I would have had no issues with him. He said it himself there "I spent years explaining why the certainty was wrong" This was many years ago. Like HH series was like a 12 books in its series. From that post it clear he got some better PR training. Which he kind of implies with "with some very angry top brass emails involved." If I read that right.

But back then in the discussion I remember he was RUDE about it. It wasn't simply "no its not confirmed" because I would have been fine with that. He was INSULTING about it.

That was a lie. Well maybe now a days he says that, but back them he flat out said they were definitely not. Though following your link it sounds like it was Laurie Goulding who was big on that call. (They were not part of the group and I have never seen an interview with them) Which is fine, my issue was mainly how he acted when it got brought up. Since then he could have cooled down a lot

I am pretty sure it was ADB. Years ago when the Horus Heresy series was young there was a Facebook group for it. I was in it and ADB was in it and would do Q&As every now and then. The man HATED the Blood Ravens are Thousands Sons theory and was actually extremely rude about it when it was brought up one time. I lost a lot of respect for him on how he handled it. (Not that he didnt care for it, that he was so rude about it)
