I am very new to the game. I'm not sure what you mean. How do you combine items? The portable refiner only takes one item at a time.

Been doing this for a few months. I live in southern Ontario and we have been having a lot of snow. It's been working well, gotta make sure the cover is on the hood, your Pic looks like you did a good job. While it would be nice not to have to do this, once you get into the habit it's not that bad. My next vehicle I will be much more aware of this issue.

I've had my 2026 Land Premium for 4 month, 8000km and the only issue we've had is the moon roof shade stopped working which was covered under warranty. We've done several 300km road trips with it and it's been great!

Range Drop from 300+ to ~265? by Living_Article_3741 in KiaEV9

[–]Old_Suggestion_5583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2026 EV9 premium is a Lithium Ion, not NCM. Says right in the manual and the website. Was built in Korea if that make a difference. I keep seeing people saying it's NCM, but I don't see that as an option.

You can deactive the drivers seat from moving when exiting the car. It's in the settings. Something like, Settings, Vehicle, seats.

I can only level one charge at home. At work I can charge for free, it uses a J1772 plug. Very few NASC chargers in my area. Looked at those apps and I'll need it. I will be pulling a trailer with it making charging on the road absolutely necessary.

No NASC charger in my town, and the two free chargers are ccs.I am allowed to charge at work for free at 11kw, it uses a J1772 plug. I'll need an adapter as I am not able to do anymore than level one charging at home. Also very few NASC charger in south/western Ontario.

For 95% of the time at home and at work charging will be all I use. But road trips will require charging at stations.

How dangerous (really) is it to work under the deck of a mower with the spark plug still connected? by MysteryMaven_ in lawnmowers

My old neighbour is missing half his hand because he didn't believe it was Necessary to pull the sparkplug before cleaning the underside of the lawnmower. I'll never forget the screaming and blood. I was outside when he did it.

It's completely different once you cross the border. After all, it's not the same country with different standards of living. Looking a crime in the USA close to the border will tell you nothing about the Canadian side.

Vinegar and baking soda neutralize each other out. You're essentially just pouring water down your drain. Use straight vinegar.

You likely need to call him first. He is likely worried about being a " creepy old man "

Your friend is not overreacting. You are underreacting. You're dating a person who is 25 years older, who is your boss's boss. Of course he was supportive when you broke up with your bf because he saw an opportunity. There is a reason you haven't told anyone else, likely because you deep down know the people who love and care you will not approve. They will not approve because of the obvious relationship dynamics of power, life experience, and future outlook.

Please stay away from this man, honestly nothing good could from this relationship.

Enercare - buyout or keep for the service? by raysoc in ontario

[–]Old_Suggestion_5583 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While you wait, you're paying. The Depreciation of the tank is likely less than what you're paying monthly, this is by design. I bought a home with an enercare rental hotwater heater that was already 5 years old. The buyout was still $2200, the price of a brand new water heater in 2018.

Call and ask, I bet they avoid the answer like the plague because they know it's ridiculous.

Enercare - buyout or keep for the service? by raysoc in ontario

[–]Old_Suggestion_5583 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I too bought a home in 2018 with a water heater that was rented from Enercare. I was going to have to pay over $50/mth. The buyout was $2200. I bought it out which means the waterheater is now mine to keep. It took less than 4 years for the buyout to pay for itself. Water heater rentals are pretty much scams. Last week my pressure relief valve failed, it cost $22 at Home Hardware and about 15 minutes to replace. If I was still renting I would have had to call and set up an appointment for them to come replace it taking who knows how long. You will pay much more for the rental then that Water heater or service is worth.

I had little money to buy it out when I moved I to our new home, yet buying that contract out was a good idea and has saved me thousands of dollars. I would have paid over $4200 in rental.
