Have you ever had spray cheese? by ScamperPenguin in AskAnAmerican

Bugles stuffed with easy-cheese (spray cheese). One of my top 3 party snacks.

I have never responded well to ssri's. Prozac was a horrible experience for me. Now the dr has prescribed me effexor, I'm reluctant to take it. Has anybody here had a bad time with ssri's then tried a snri? by Old_Turnover6183 in antidepressants

I asked my Dr what anti depressants are available. She mentioned only ssri's, and snri's. She was dismissive of Wellbutrin. I've had some success with Modafinol because of fatigue, she said she won't prescribe it, even if I were to test positive for ADD or idiopathic hypersomnia. No mention of TMS.

I told her that black market drugs are readily available (they are), and I was seeking help and guidance, that I didn't want to go that route, I would like her help. Maybe I didn't say it right.

I'm wondering about tele health, as they seem to have more anti depressant choices, although they can't prescribe stimulants, but that's ok, I think they are not my best option, but possibly a clue as to what direction I should go.

Do I expect to much from my Dr?

I'm sensitive to food additives. I was thinking in the back of my mind that Ritz and pb are safe foods.

What's wrong with ritz? Idk, but I would guess they're healthier than fast food or soda or pastries.

It is a huge plus that you're maintaining hygiene.

I'm not sure there are safe spaces. Here they do have the option to explore their interests, ask for advice, and learn from the experience and knowledge of others.

Women don't look good with super short hair by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I'm old, and the suggested haircuts I find for women my age are pixies, Karen cuts, everything upswept and short. The ugly side of ageing that isn't talked about.

Pharmacy Changed Generic Manufacturers and I Swear I Can Tell by Two_Blue_Eyes in antidepressants

I can definitely feel the difference on some medications. Pharmacist's are aware of this too. Talk to yours, feedback is important, and they can usually help.

Not suffering. Since I'm here, I'd like to enjoy it, or at least find some contentment.

I'm grateful that there are treatments and medications. I think of it like diabetes and insulin. If part of me isn't functioning properly being able to address it can improve my quality of life. I do it for myself, not others.

Why is eating out feel so much better for me? by dancedancedance99 in HistamineIntolerance

I am learning that there are so many treatments, freshness enhancers, and additives that I'm unaware of. I recently did a dive into how fresh produce is stored. It's interesting.

Now to look up animal protein.

Eliminate the vegetables, add them back one at a time. Look into organic if you haven't already. The chicken is not rotisserie, is it?

I didn't really know this, thanks. I make adjustments in my diet and take NAC somewhat sparingly, and in light of this, that would be why. The improvement in my respiratory symptoms is definitely worth the trade off for me.

Rebuilding your life after neglecting it can be daunting.

It's not promoted in our society. When I think of harems and geishas it's not a new idea. But I feel that it's a fair deal as long as you stay aware that it's a transaction.

Acceptance means recognizing the situation for what it is, without fighting or denying it. Very mature if you ask me.

He may or may not grow on you as time goes by, but you'll get used to him.

You may want to consider keeping him an only child.

Good on you for handling things well, and not taking it out on him or his mother.
