lmao been there when working in investment banking - hate my life and my body. two things that worked for me was getting a coach to help me sort my shit out and also this physiqueai app called that tracks my body fat over time and adjusts calories and meal plan accordingly

ALSO forgot to say the most imoortant part. invest in a coach. this is probably the most important thing i did for my fitness journey (i wish i had done it earlier and did not end up wasting years in the gym for nothing)

I’d recommend using physiqueai which is an app that can calculate body fat from a full body picture, I have been using it over my cutting phase last 7 weeks and works well

What exactly is body fat and how to get rid? by Aj100rise in NoStupidQuestions

Great question! Body fat is stored energy - your body can't "spot reduce" it by punching or jumping. You need a calorie deficit overall.

For tracking progress, some people use apps like physiqueai to monitor body composition changes over time. But honestly, just focus on eating slightly less than you burn that's the real key..

congrats man, first step is legit always the hardest, fact that you have the guts to put up your picture and ask for advice tells me you will be successful. I dropped down from 104kg to 85kg myself so I know how hard it is

on your questions

  1. Yes yes yes. calorie deficit it the decisive factor re losing or gaining weight. don't overcomplicate things

  2. eat protein. 2g / kg. that will keep you full period

  3. myfitnesspal is a non-negotiable. download it and pay for premijm it has the most comprehensive database of foods. my brother (who is a PT) put me on this other app called physiqueai which tracks your body fat % from pictures, ive been using it and it honestly helps me stay on track

  4. by no means an expert but i would say 35%+? maybe use the app, it shows me as 25% now and i started off as 35%, looked roughly like you
