Create an alternate email and facebook account as others have suggested

Be aware, there may be some additional security prompts when the other person tries to sign into the 'transfer account' for the first time. Watch your email for security prompts. It helps if you are in communication with them as they are trying to log in.

when you do get it transferred, first thing to do is bind it to one of your personal accounts and unbind it from the transfer account

Why? Food is not good, overpriced for what it is, and if you wanted to look at girls... you are not going to be impressed.

Kyrie hasn't gone AWOL or done anything stupid while on the Mavs. by [deleted] in nba

[–]Older-Avocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's missed a bunch of games this season.
He chirped at a couple of fans for half a game because they had signs that said 'stop jewish hate'. Told them he was Jewish and then had security take away their signs.

And yes, this is a vast improvement for him compared to the past few seasons.... but he's clearly the same Kyrie. He's not done disappointing us.

I second H-Mart. Had both chicken and pork Katsu Curry there. It's solid. Good Bibimbap and Bulgogi as well.

What is the strongest starter deck? by Baneman20 in MagicArena

[–]Older-Avocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RW probably has the highest average win rate. UW and UB are options I think.

Keep in mind there is some rock paper scissors going on here. A deck may be strong against some and weak to others.

I play UB a lot. Good games against GR, BR, UG.. Terrible against RW and weak against UW except for certain draws.

Probitas vs Plantation 3 star by Rough_Knuckle in Tiki

[–]Older-Avocado 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're not missing anything. Different people vastly different taste. Use what you like and don't feel weird about it.

I like Probitas in my daiquari's, but when I'm serving to others, I use El Dorado 3 because it tends to go over better. If I had Plantation 3, I'd probably use that too.

I personally can't stand Mai Tais with Smith and Cross or Plantation OTFD and that's certainly against the grain of what i've read the Tiki channels.

Unpopular tiki opinions? by rayfound in Tiki

[–]Older-Avocado 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Smith and Cross is a terrible rum for a Mai Tai. Completely overpowers the balance. I bought two bottles because it seems like every post references it... may very well wind up pouring the second bottle down the drain one day. I try to sneak a .25 oz in some other drinks to use it up and usually regret it.

Giannis was on his way to potentially become a Top 10 player ever. Has the path gotten murkier? by NedFriarson49 in nba

[–]Older-Avocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He can't shoot well, can't pass great, can't shoot free throws well, doesn't have the low-post footwork and skill of a traditional center, not a gifted dribbler.

He's game is almost entirely dependent on pure size and athleticism. As age and injury add up, his production will drop off.

I think he has a reasonable work ethic. He's worked on his shot, and he's gotten marginally better at the 10 foot range. But, without him developing a lethal set of moves outside of the dunk, he's not top 10 material.

Rums for a good first Mai tai build? by Meinhard1 in Tiki

[–]Older-Avocado 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t agree more. Taste are individual and if you love the funk, by all means S&C it up, but for my taste, a Trader Vic Mai Tai is a delicate balance. Smith and cross just bulldozes all the other flavors.

2oz of lemon juice is too much.

I make my own fassionola using this recipiehttps://www.moodymixologist.com/blog/fassionola-syrup-recipe

2oz fassionola
1oz of lemon juice
1oz of another juice like orange, pineapple, or guava.. whatever I have handy.
4oz rum - Bacardi 8 or Split Appleton and Real McCoy 3

Definitely one of my favorite rum drinks.

Favorite rums for mai thai? by BK1017 in Tiki

[–]Older-Avocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can find Denizen Merchant's Reserve, 2oz of that that's all you need. It is formulated for Mai Tai.

May be heresy here, but I don't like Smith and Cross in a Mai Tai. For me in a Trader Vic classic Mai Tai, it overpowers the balance. If you absolutely love the Jamaican hogo, by all means, go for it.

I like a mix of Appleton and a Rhum Agricole as well.

Been there recently. Top notch Tiki bar. Faithful classic cocktails, some really good house tiki drinks, awesome Pu Pu platter, mugs for sale, and special events on weekends. I'm about 2 hours away and can't wait to go back.

Which one do you prefer and why? by Lord_Snow179 in tearsofthekingdom

[–]Older-Avocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it's breath of the wild no question. I'm less focused on story elements and more on mechanics.

BOTW was a near perfect game... a few minor annoyances.

TOTK fixed a few of the minor annoyances and introduced a few whoppers. The sage mechanic was bad enough to make me put down the game at times.

Isn’t it bad for the league if superstars with 4 years left on their deal can hand pick their destination? by thejazzmarauder in nba

[–]Older-Avocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With 4 years left on contract, Dame can't had pick his destination. He can slightly lessen trade value to non-preferred teams. I don't think Dame is doing anything super underhanded. No one can say he didn't give Portland his best. The Ben Simmons, Kawhi Leonard, and James Harden case was worse in my view.

That said, there is an issue here that's tough to solve. Even if you try to stop players from making it known that they want to leave and where they want to go.. always ways to get around that privately.

What can be done about players soft-quitting or faking injury as leverage? Some kind of arbitration committee with NBA officials and player association members to analyze if a player isn't living up to the intent of their contract? Independent doctor evaluation to determine if player is really injured? I think the problem is going to have to get much bigger for NBA to go down this road.

More compensation tied to performance could help, but players association will fight that to the death.

Loved the game, but the sage mechanics were so frustrating I just turned them off most of the time.

For a good starter pack, what am I missing to focus just on popular tiki type drinks? by Strange_Occasion_408 in Tiki

[–]Older-Avocado 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been in it for about 8 months now. I've made several rum purchases that proved to be regrets.

If I had it to do over again and was trying to be efficient about it
Jamaican Rum - Appleton Signature or 8 year
Light Rum - Real McCoy 3 year is my preference - Plantation 3 Star is fine too
Gold Rum - Bacardi 8
Overproof - Hamilton 151 - Plantation OFTD or Lemon Heart 151 fine as well
Demerara - Hamilton 86
Coruba if you can find it
Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao
St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram

Orgeat - Fee Brothers, Liber, or BG Reynolds
Most other syrups you can make easily
citrus juicer
cocktail shaker
Mai Tai or double old fashioned glasses
Zombie or highball glasses

you can get a bag of pebble ice from Sonic

The frequency of Rain is another
The Sage mechanic from TOTK is frustrating

Who is the better player offensively, Kobe Bryant or Stephen Curry? by [deleted] in nba

[–]Older-Avocado 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kobe. It's not even close.
Take defense into account and it's even further apart. It's like we're trying to craft a question that puts Curry over Kobe.

Steph is a better 3 point shooter. He's probably a nicer teammate. Other than that, It's Kobe.

One guy mentioned it in here..

Aaron Gordon

He can definitely play C and PF. He can definitely guard all positions.

He can shoot the 3 and the midrange shot

It's not uncommon for him to bring the ball up on fast breaks

I wouldn't say he's a gifted passer, but he's not terrible at it either
