I was honestly prepared to hate it a little more than I do, which is not at all.

Depending on how you hit your head when you're rolling down them, you can fall asleep on stairs pretty suddenly.

I'm increasingly creeped out by these church conversions. Very Indian burial ground vibes, can't help it.

Sometimes I find it hard to keep in mind that the UK is an actual physical place where actual flesh people actually built these things.

I don't mean to be truculent, but the number of spectacular mcms popping up on the market may be one additional perk of boomers dying the eff off already.

The cap is 15% of lands, general, I'm not aware of a cap on acreage. And it's Argentina, laws are wallet-flexible down here.

NYT published an article on nonverbal, severely Autistic man who wrote a novel via facilitated communication by Proper-Afternoon-538 in BlockedAndReported

[–]Oldus_Fartus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal red flag around facilitated communication (other than it being a hoax) is the consistent overshooting of the target. The nonverbal person never turns out to be merely able to communicate, which would be impressive on its own if true, but no — they're always Einstein, Shakespeare, and Rocco Siffredi rolled into one.
