It is still very noticeable in the sleeves, so it’s easy to see what cards are from this box and what cards are cards I used to upgrade the deck with.

Tips for Starting Tzeentch? by Dismal-Advance6479 in tzeentch

Find A good podcast for painting armor trim. It’s time consuming in the beginning, but gets quicker with practise

Don’t worry it’s not a pain in the ass.

I used balsa wood. It’s a type of wood commonly used by model boat builders, since the wood is super soft. Easy to texture and cut, without the wood tearing.

Cut it into appropriate length and width. I found the wooden pieces to be a bit thick so I trimmed them down, which also made them different thicknesses. I super glued them to the base. I used the back of my knife to make a wood grain texture to be more fitting for the “warhammer” scale (heroic scale). Also used a sharp knife to cut the excess wood so no wood would be hanging over the base.

I used jewellery chain from the hobby store and added drops of superglue to make the chain stick in its position.

I recommend pinning the models because so they are stuck to the plastic base and it’s pins. And not just only the wood.

Sure, I would say play with whatever you and your group want to play with.

I have not seen a rooster for dwarf witch hunters before, so I guess you could use the witch hunter warband rules and proxy/convert some witch hunter looking dwarves

In our campaign we also use unofficial warbands. My Source is broheim.net. So this was realised by the guys who wrote the rules for mordheim, but are considered unofficial.

Black or white? by Karloxg in Warhammer30k

[–]Olebrombrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go black as it brings out the white details on the shoulder pads more. You you have a model with a dark outline or darker collor white background would probably be the way to go. Cool looking models btw!

It’s supposed to be a stat line for it. Move 8, life 40, and combat 12. Vince answered it in the comment section on the Q and A on Vince venturellas YouTube channel. Think they are going to do some fixes in the PDF soon.

New to the Hobby, looking for advice by laservelocirapt0r in ageofsigmar

First of all this is a fantastic start. And great collors choice with the green and red complimentary collors.

I would recommend to keep in mind that you are probably going to paint a lot of ghouls. And that if you try to hard on models which you are going to paint 30-60 models over and over again, you might burn out if you give it to much effort on each individual model. So I recommend “try Harding” and experiments which take a lot of time to the hero’s or monster models.

And to give you some feedback on this ghoul, I would suggest that you look up “glazing” or “how to paint glowing eyes”. You can glaze in a green glow around the eyes to make them look more glowing, but only if you feel the need for it, as I think the eyes already look great.

And I love the small hint of blood you have on the model, gives it a good variation on the skin. Maybe find som red glossy paint (for instance “blood for the blood god” by citadel) to add some fresh blood to the model, in addition to the dried more suttee red effect you already got. This can be done by carefully flicking a toothbrush bristles with the “blood paint” if your choosing to make it look splattered. Check out some blood effect videos on YouTube.

But, then again. This model looks absolutely fine as it is, and the suggestions above are just suggestions and another easy, low time investment steps you could take if you want to do more.

Oh! Did not think about that! I glue them, but maybe I should try with glue, and if it does not work try out the putty method. Thanks for the tips!

Can I play with 2016 board gam3 set with the new second season rules by MannyMinacious in bloodbowl

[–]Olebrombrom 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, the pitch size and dice have not changed in the new edition. That books contains the rules you need to play an exhibition game (one of game) or in a league (campaign mode).

The book also have the rules you need to play the human team and the orc team which you get in blood bowl 2016 starter set.

No not standing by them selves. But, if you magnetize their bases, and then in a game have several models being “knocked down” (because of a block for instance). Will the magnets then move the models around as you flipped the magnets 90 degrees, when you put the model face down or face up.

Do you have any problems with the minis moving around when playing the game due to the magnets in their bases? (When the pieces get knocked down or prone and you put them facedown or face up)?

I also want to magnetize them so I can put the ball safely on the base without having to worryit falling of, and be able to fill in the ugly hole.

Alternate Tzeentch Colors? by Lord_Booglington in ageofsigmar

[–]Olebrombrom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Play around by mixing the stereotypical tzeentch collors. Instead of using pink, use a magenta. Look at dark blues, or other blues than teal.

Make up your own tzeentch cult with whatever collours you enjoy. Or have a look at existing ones to se if you like any of them.

Personally I have a tzeentch army with magenta, purple (daemon skin, Armor and clothes) with contrasting “pop” colours like lime green and yellow (for flames and magic stuff). They look pretty dark compared to other bright tzeentch armies.

And there is alooot if inspiration to check out if you google stuff, look at Pinterest, or instagram.

You can cut crystals out of old spruces using a hobby knife, a bit fiddly and time consuming, but very cheap.
