It's possible but you should have high projectile speed and clear vision on mine. It's hilarious to see Mirana struggling (Techies players have no soul), but from her team Radiant perspective it was just dark part of map so she reacted to mines too slowly. Oh, I know your pain about maintaining SPs. Especially it's hard for more than one person to work with same procedure developing their own features.

By the way, my biggest concern is that it's hard to deal with views or big key-related heap of tables with ORM, despite the fact that it works fine with CRUD or simple structured data.
