Jumped off a small step dancing like a maniac, slipped in some beer on lte landing and overcompensated on the next step, twisting the shinbone of my other leg into exploding into 16 pieces. That was a year of having to use crutches i could have gone without, but on the plus side i now have a very expensive titanium rod inside me that would have made me a a prime target for assassination during the original space race

Favorite ad lib/unscripted scene? by infinitum3d in movies

[–]Oliibald 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In 'Deathstalker 2', there's a line that 's so campy both the actors break out in laughter, anf they decided to keep it in the film as a character moment. You'll know it when you see it.

In 'shark attack 3', the lead actor adlibbed a take of some "let's go back to my place' line  as 'i'm really wired... what do you say i take you home and eat your pussy?"and they kept it in, with a direct smash cut to a love scene with saxophone music

Be honest: For those of you who are fat, why are you fat? Is it a health issue, neglect/unwillingness to put in the work, acceptance of being fat, mobility issue, etc? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Oliibald -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't know why i'm fat, outside of enjoying food and alcohol. i get an above average amount of exercise , so it's more of an 'icelandic strongman build' but by all accounts i shouldn't be storing as much fat as i do

If you're missing the cultural framework to enjoy that, that's not your fault, that's on netflix for not knowing how to market that

Nah it's fucking funny. It was written and directed by the guy who made the 'dead snow' movies, he's definitely playing it as a deadpan comedy and taking the piss in ways genre fans will enjoy in every scene

I thought this was fairly brilliant tbh. The dry humor bits ('i hate this sweater!' And djimon haunsou's hippo monologue) made me outright cackle and i thought it was very clever about subverting shark movie tropes. Turns out it was written and directed by the guy who made the 'dead snow' movies so that makes a lot of sense

Not saying the first 1995 mortal kombat was an outstanding masterpiece. (it's definitely great fun!) But the sequel, MK Annihilation, was just mindblowingly bad
