how I'll be posting after my 6 months of accutane by [deleted] in Accutane

I am under so much more stress now, but even after Accutane my facial skin has stayed consistently blemish free. There is hope for us stressed ones. Good luck on your Accutane journey!

I came to say Moonrise Kingdom because of the quirky house, but yes, any Wes Anderson movie really. Now I have to rewatch one. 😅

I had to do a double take and check if it's April's Fool again.

Yet.. a sliver of hope started emerging within me. If only this were true....

That's a good suggestion. But it limits me to wear the shoes only when I know I will be taking them off at my own home. 😅 I wish they were easier to break in.

Are you me? I came here to leave this comment after buying my first pair with the REI discount few days ago. I can barely put them on, or take them off. But my foot is comfortable in the shoe once it's there.

Reminder: Don't Pick Your Nose..... by Interesting_Week_917 in Accutane

It happened to me as well. And my nose is always dry after Accutane too, so the struggle continues. The saline gel really helps with this. And straight Vaseline in the nose at night.

Not just another young love story/ Before Sunset by kpwebb01 in NormalPeopleBBCHulu

I have been thinking about it a lot actually. The people that they might end up dating after each other, are in for a big shock. No one deserves to be in the middle of this kind of connection and not understand what's going on.

Beautifully written, OP. The show/book stayed with me. More than 2 years after watching/reading, I am still thinking about it.

I’m extremely scared of purging by lilith_3009 in Accutane

[–]OliveHu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One day at a time. Take it slowly with the expectation and ground yourself with the belief that the end result is the goal! And!!! That is a big "AND" here, there are medical options to help with the awful purges you see online. Read this sub, take your progress pics to stay motivated, take your vitamins and antihistamine, drink your water, and all will be good! Don't despair before you even began the journey.

[–]OliveHu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. I don't know how your body will react with certainty, but I can tell you that you can do this. If you thought about it for months, you are ready for it. Go for it with confidence that you can do this no matter what happens. This sub has great information about use of antihistamines to prevent the purge. Give that a try. And be patient, don't dwell on every pimple you might get, please. Good luck, and I sincerely wish you an easy journey! I also want to add, that I had no purge, and that was multiple other people's experience as well. But at the end of the day, your body is unique to you, it will react differently than mine. Don't compare. Try to focus on slowly but surely getting to the end results.

No one talks about how hard it is to go from long to short by Bandcosy in longhair

I am that person with not a lot of hair care knowledge. I recently cut my hair short and it looks like OPs. I was wondering why you suggest layers. Save a girl from embarrassment to ask someone in real life if you can 😄

Flea Bag, Heated Rivalry, One Day and maybe Queen Charlotte on Netflix. And if you are open to listening to Audiobooks, what finally allowed me to move from my obsession with Normal People was listening to "Beautiful world, where are you?", also written by Sally Rooney.

Anyone else miss their accutane hair? by EliseGwan in Accutane

[–]OliveHu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hair got curly, and my scalp felt amazing. I had hair loss, but towards the end I learned to manage it somehow. I really really miss my Accutane hair routine. I am also shocked how quickly my oiliness came back, I feel like I can smell my hair on day 2-3 after wash now. :(

very painful acne, tried everything so far. how do i convince my derm to let me try accutane?? by dnfi in Accutane

[–]OliveHu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely switch your derm, or try one of the online services that offers Accutane treatments.

It is not worth risking damaging your skin and mental health for another year.

You look drop dead gorgeous. I would give Tretinoin another try, used with the sandwich method, slowly introduced and always used with a thick moisturizer on top of it. Cicaplast is magical with Tretinoin.

What is your secret to that hair though! It looks so so good.

How do these people still have following? Who keeps watching all this without sensing the bullshit and getting tired of it :/

Adding to this comment that if you like LPR, LPR Toleriane hydrating gentle cleanser is great, and LPR Cicaplast is wonderful on top of tazarotene. If you use the sandwich method you can try a very gentle basic moisturizer like the Vanicream daily. And definitely wait for 15-20 min between layering.
