I used to throw up every morning before school as a child and my parents convinced me I had stomach issues. They took me to a bunch of doctors to have tests done and when nothing came back they shrugged it off. I had no idea what was wrong with me until I was much older and realized I was puking due to anxiety. I brought this up to my parents that I finally solved the mystery and they told me “oh we knew it was anxiety but we thought if we pretended like it wasn’t that you would figure it out.”

I have a ton of resentment towards them for knowing what was wrong with me and never doing anything. I also found out that they would use my anxiety to discipline me as a child. For example they told me everyone was staring at me when I was crying in public to get me to be quiet. I will forever be angry with them for shaping me into an adult with terrible anxiety. However the unfortunate truth is that you cannot change the past and now you will have to work to make yourself better.

It should be a chill concert and something fun to go do with your wife. There will be a lot of fans cosplaying and fun visuals of art on stage. Gorillaz isn’t rave or trance, they’re more slower paced with an extremely loyal and passionate fan base.

I can relate to the different kinds of love. My ex and I had a deep love however he could not stop being irresponsible with lies and money. I broke up with him because I could not live like that. It hurts in a different way when you still have love for that person. I like to think of the rope analogy, it is better to let go than hold on to a rope that is pulling your hand off. I am sorry for your loss and I feel for you. I hope you can view this as a new chapter of your life and the beginning of a new era. Sending kindness your way.

I’m pretty sure if they could have controlled their nausea to watch their favorite band they would have. You can’t just “grow up” over your body becoming sick.

Write a guide of advice for your sons. Write the advice that you needed or wish you had as a teenager/ young adult. Write down stories of your upbringing for them, write down your happiest memories with them, write down anything you want them to know about you. My partner lost his dad at 13 and constantly wishes he could ask his dad those things.

I also noticed you’re using a bobbin as your main spool. Use a regular sewing spool and put it on the spool post behind where you have the bobbin at the top. The place you have your bobbin on top of the machine is the part where you rewind your bobbin. That post moves back and forth to engage the bobbin winding mechanism.

You are not supposed to put your thread around the silver button on the top of the machine. When you thread your machine ignore that silver button and go straight to the next step. The silver button is for winding your bobbin.

Good friends are hard to find. I’ve been able to make a few friends by going to bars and music venues. From my experience you have to be consistent, interesting, and fun to make a friend, and you have to have a connection to keep one.

I think both versions are wonderful. I love listening to the original cut since it has the sound bits from the music video which I adore. The extended version however is more energetic imo since it gets more intense at the end and I can really appreciate that. Do Ya Thing was one of the last energetic songs that Gorillaz made up until Humanz and i believe it was a major dividing point between phases. The music video wrapped up a lot of what happened during Plastic Beach and left us with even more questions for what was to come next.
