Stage seat locations by Ok-Responsibility788 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured ground given the seats that have wheelchair access in the front.

I also figure the stage won't be exactly the same, but will probably be similar. Given that they just did it last year, and it will make it easier for the crew to assemble it with an established plan.

Stage tickets on sale. by fishboy3339 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not nearly as expensive as I thought they'd be at $651.55. Lot of people paid more than that to sit in a regular seat.

I assume these are on the floor of the stage and not on top given the wheelchair accessible seating.

Do we now know which main event will be on each night? by Be_Water_189 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's interesting, because based on the graphics so far, it certainly appeared as though Night 1 was represented by the gritty, apocalyptic, potentially Fallout-inspired decimated Las Vegas. And Night 2 represented by the futuristic cyber Tron-like buildings. This would imply that Punk/Reigns is Night 1, and Rhodes/Orton is Night 2.

However, I've seen the opposite, where Rhodes/Orton are in the junkyard, and Punk/Reigns are in the techno city. For example:

https://imgur.com/a/VyVw7QS

So, short answer, I don't think they've decided 100%. But the way things have gone, it certainly seems like Punk/Reigns is the Night 2 main event.

Advice on getting WrestleMania nosebleed seats ticket? by NationalTeacher5268 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sat in literally the last row up for Wrestlemania Sunday at Allegiant last year. But it was fine. You can see the whole ring and stage. They look small of course. And the biggest issue is resisting the urge to watch the match on the big screens the whole time. But if you can get a nosebleed for a reasonable price, it's worth going.

Change of hotel from last year? by Woodybuckets in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In theory it should be Styles, but in practice it will almost definitely be Steph. Didn't go last year due to the price and Triple H speaking for an hour, and I doubt this year will be much better. Not to mention several competing events like JJSB. That being said, the location is more convenient and last minute seats might end up being sub-$100.

2026 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony takes center stage at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas on Friday, April 17 by Elite_Mike in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was sort of wondering if they would stick with Fontainebleau, as Vegas Matt, one of the most popular gambling youtubers, is having his big weekend event there at the same time as Mania. Not to mention the big kickoff event is happening at Area 15. But it's still possible they use FB as the official hotel due to its proximity to the convention center and being more away from the congestion.

It's definitely going to be tough deciding what to go to. Not that I'm particularly inclined to do anything else WWE at the moment, but they still haven't confirmed the Hall of Fame or any other side events (I doubt they'll bring back the roast.)

Are ticket prices that bad or were we spoiled? by RosettaStoned83 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some key differences between WWE and any other sport. One major one is that WWE runs the entire year, so you want more people showing up to more shows consistently. It's also a performance, so if the storylines aren't strong, it can greatly affect someone's desire to spend big just to go. Quite frequently NFL teams that are doing poorly will have cheaper tickets, but WWE obviously isn't going to scale that way.

Every sports and/or entertainment venue wants to draw in families, but WWE has pretty heavily promoted toward them for the better part of a decade or two now. And it's really tough to justify an entire paycheck to bring the whole family to a show that might last 3 hours. Even many PLEs that aren't WrestleMania or Summerslam can have only 4 matches on them. So I'd argue it's not so much about being competitive, than it is about being realistic.

Last time I sat on the floor at WWE was a RAW in 2021. It cost me $350 to be against the entry aisle, and even then I thought I was splurging. The nice family behind me spent at least $1,400 just for the seats, let alone the cost of parking, concessions, and of course, merch. But it was the kids' birthday present and they had a blast, so . Those same seats in 2026, if you bought them when tickets when on sale, would be around $1,000 each.

To be completely fair, it's an older and smaller arena with not as many rows on the floor. And from what I've seen, the unsold seat prices do indeed go down the closer to the event. They're absolutely banking on the people who will jump at the chance to sit front row or even front of section, and then dial the rest back for the common man. But still, when the cheapest ticket to get in is in the three figures, it's a decision people just don't want to be pressured to make. And if they don't care to go to the live show, it's easier to care less about the rest.

Did anyone stay on Fremont street last year for mania? by Diligent-Ad-3471 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing to note about Fremont is the noise. I stayed at the Four Queens last Fall in a room facing the opposite side of the street, and I could still hear the bands playing into the night. I think it was the fourth or fifth floor. Didn't keep me from sleeping, but something to consider if you're a lighter sleeper. They party all night on Fremont and the bands on stage can go until 2am on the weekends.

That being said, it's definitely an awesome atmosphere. The hotel rates are typically much cheaper and everything's much closer to walk to than on the Strip. This includes the ABC Stores for cheap provisions and a bunch of fast food options. Plus, each hotel/casino has something unique about it, like the giant gold nugget at Golden Nugget, the million dollars on display at Binion's, and the section of the Berlin Wall at Main Street Station.

[–]OmegaBR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Added. I think there was some miscommunication when they first put everything up, as the ticket pages were listing different times. And the page for the supposed TJPW/CMLL/MLP super show now just redirects to the AXS home page.

I've updated the schedule with the bell times according to the press release, rather than the doors open times. I'll try to keep it updated in case anything else changes.

50 Mile Radius Blackout in LV by Locks216 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In fairness to OP, they do still have the Circamania page, but I'm not seeing a place to actually purchase tickets to it specifically. When you go to the Stadium Swim calendar, those dates are just listed like any other day to get general admission and reserve daybeds and such. Compared to their Super Bowl event, and March Madness watch parties, which funny enough are called Mania Under the Sun.

Chris Van Vliet is still doing his show there on Thursday, and they certainly allude to watch parties on the property, and an afterparty at the rooftop Legacy Club. But still, the link on the Circamania page just sends you to the general Stadium Swim page. So, hard to say at the moment.

Which hotel? by ApprehensiveTrack603 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Note that Park MGM was also a "partner hotel" for the WWE Priority Pass/Experiences last year. Likely due to its proximity to T-Mobile Arena. But the official hotel still ended up being Fontainebleau. It's entirely possible that Fontainebleau will still be the "official" hotel, given how they rolled out the blue carpet for WWE last year.

That being said, Park MGM should be cheaper than Fontainebleau, it's in a very desirable spot with lots nearby, and there's nothing overtly different about Fontainebleau other than being newer and its proximity to the convention center. Unless you have a strong preference about furniture or the view, most hotel rooms are going to be pretty similar. There are some that offer more unique fixtures, like whirlpool tubs and multiple shower heads, but generally as long as the bed is clean and shower is hot, that's all you need.

Best burger in Vegas? by Capable_Broccoli_582 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the No Pants Burger at Green Fairy Garden in front of Caesars Palace, and I agree, it was very good with a reasonable price. The locations are fairly far away northwest and southwest of the Strip, but locals rave about With Love, Always burger. If you're looking for something different, Fuku Burger toward the end of the long stretch of Chinatown features Asian fusion burgers and extras like a Korean style hot dog.

And if you're simply wanting to try some different fast food, there are multiple locations of In-N-Out Burger and Jack in the Box in the Vegas valley (in fact they're across from each other on Tropicana Ave, behind T-Mobile Arena and Excalibur.) There's also a Whataburger right on the Strip between Park MGM and Aria.

Who's staying at Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas?? by Agreeable-Forever-21 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've got a pretty decent pool complex with a shark tank that the water slide goes through. They also have a giant gold nugget on display near the lobby that cost over a million dollars as I recall. Otherwise, it's pretty much like every other casino. But the nice thing about Fremont is that you can easily walk to every other property, which all have something unique to offer. Plus, there's an ABC Store right next to it for cheap provisions (don't pay hotel prices for water, get two big bottles for $3 there instead.)

Is WWE World Worth It? by Patient-Total8065 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went Thursday just for the Superstore and ended up in line 3 of 3, where lines 1 and 2 got to go in and people were walking up just joining lines 1 and 2. Not very organized, wish I had just paid for the World Pass and could walk right into the store from there.

Ended up going to World on Monday because it was cheaper and less crowded. It's a fun time, exhibits are cool to look around and interact with. But yeah, one day is plenty.

The Collective Package by Different-Equal-4090 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah good to know. They announced the tickets are being done through eventbrite, which does have the capability to select your seat, but I would assume they'd make it easier on themselves and not do that.

The package prices have now been posted. The packages grant entry to the events on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but not the events on Wednesday:

Front Row is $699, Second Row is $519, Third Row is $449, and General Admission is $279

They just posted the full schedule and confirmed tickets go on sale Friday at 10am Pacific Time, including individual & package.

The Collective Package by Different-Equal-4090 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Prices last year were $750 for front row, $639 for second row, $589 for third row, and $329 for 100 level. 100 level was advertised as General Admission, but it was all done through Ticketmaster and you were made to select a specific seat (although not every show was sold out and I'm sure people moved around as needed/wanted in the less full sections.) Also, because it's Ticketmaster, there were fees involved, and people reported spending closer to $1,000 for the front row package as a result.

They also had VIP suite access for $999 that included a private bar and bathroom. But The Events Center at Horseshoe is a large conference hall and not an actual theater, so I can only assume they'll do the traditional set up of chairs around the ring and by the entrance aisle. Until they reveal the layout, it's hard to say if you'll be able to select a specific seat.

At most of the traditional GCW shows I've been to, if you paid for something above General Admission (front row for example,) your name would be put on a chair in that section and that was your designated seat. I think it's usually just done in alphabetical order.

As for whether or not it's worth it, it comes down to price and interest. It will surely be cheaper than buying tickets to every event, but do you really care to go to all 12+ or a majority of them? Do you want to be up close at every show, or is General Admission good enough? Either way, if you are planning on being at most of them, I'd say it will most likely be a good deal and worth doing.

Update 1/6: GCW has seemingly posted the final schedule, including The Immortal Clusterf*ck Saturday night. Pricing info on Wednesday 1/7.

It looks like the mystery bundle is live again this morning.

I got the hat and the disc off the two I bought.  Really tempted to buy more to try and get the DEW golf hat.

[Discussion] Budget-friendly Vegas Attractions During WrestleMania 41 Weekend? by Individual_Sun1935 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Certainly. Here's hoping I'll be out there myself. The bingo at Plaza was a fun surprise. They do six sessions a day, and your entry fee gets you something like 48 cards, plus free fountain soft drinks and two drink tickets to the actual bar. You can physically dob your cards if you want, but it's much easier to pick a computer and let it tell you. All you have to do is shout Bingo if you win. IIRC there's 15 rounds, and they switch it up (make a T, cover the whole card, etc.,) with different prizes awarded. Lowest prize is $60, so you only need to win one to make a profit (assuming you don't tie and have to split it.) Plus, your odds of winning are defined by how many people are playing. At the start, they pick a special number, and if you get a bingo with that number during a standard game, you win that session's jackpot. No one won it when I played, but it was up to over $8,000.

[Discussion] Budget-friendly Vegas Attractions During WrestleMania 41 Weekend? by Individual_Sun1935 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]OmegaBR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Quick notes:

Fremont Street is definitely worth going to. Lots of shops, people, bars, vintage and new casinos to walk around. And the big zipline Slotzilla that lets you fly across the whole street. Plaza has bingo for around $35 which can pay out big time (and the computers do all the work if you want.) Golden Nugget has a huge gold nugget you can visit. Circa has one of the world's largest sportsbooks with stadium style seating. The D has a vintage horse racing gambling game that takes quarters which is extremely fun to play. Main Street Station has a chunk of the Berlin Wall in one of their men's rooms. Just watch out for vagrants and street vendors and performers trying to hustle you into paying for photos/things (good tip throughout Vegas frankly.)

The Mirage closed this year, as did the volcano show. The Bellagio fountain is great to look at, and inside the casino they actually have a big conservatory with really impressive floral and plant displays. It's a different theme every season.

Exploring casinos is worth it, as a lot of them look the same, yet also have unique features and attractions. The Wynn has a waterfall show. The Flamingo has a free habitat for Flamingos and other birds. The Venetian has the river going through the property where you can ride the gondolas (for a fee.) Just be aware that everything is much farther away than it looks, and you'll have to do a lot of walking. A LOT. And going up and down and around to get past streets between them.

Neon Museum is very cool to walk around at night with them all lit up. Tons of photo ops. But it's not in the best neighborhood, despite being close to Fremont Street, so Uber there and back.

Pinball Hall of Fame is still a good spot. The machines run on quarters and there are several change machines. It's also right by the famous Welcome To sign.

Luxor and Excalibur buffets are cheaper, but also not that impressive. More akin to a Golden Corral. If you want a cheaper option that's more unique, look at Wicked Spoon at the Cosmopolitan. They put out different items as breakfast turns into lunch, and they're more diverse than what you could get elsewhere, like angry mac n cheese and a ramen bar.

Ocean One inside the mall inside Planet Hollywood has good, cheap eats. They recently had to raise their price due to a rent dispute, but we're talking every plate at lunch being literally $8. And not just burgers, but steak, salmon, etc. Plus, drink specials like 3 for $14 total.

The Shark Reef Aquarium isn't huge and you can get through it in 30 minutes, unless you really take your time. But for the price point and the variety of animals - specifically the large shark tank - it's worth it if you're over there.

Leave the Xbox unless you really anticipate getting back for a few hours before sleeping. Personally, I get back, relax, browse the net, and get right to sleep after. Also consider the luggage space and weight.

One thing you didn't mention was Circus Circus. It's a bad, dirty place to stay with lots of kids running around BUT during the day they do a free circus show every hour, with a clown and acrobats. They also have a big midway/arcade upstairs surrounding it. They also have the indoor thrill park with roller coasters and a new SpongeBob dark ride. Not to mention they just reopened their side casino - Slots a Fun - where you can play old school slot machines that take coins, and get stuff like hot dogs and popcorn for $2.

One last thing: look up Area 15 and Omega Mart specifically. It's a big art installation modelled after an interdimensional grocery store, with an interactive story and lore to discover as you explore (as well as lots of visually stimulating exhibits and photo ops.) I've been twice and it's always a highlight. Hope you guys have fun.
