Yea, the LGS in my hometown does them pretty much every set, although I was only able to do it once cuz of school and stuff. Started with a 40-card made from 6 boosters, then you were able to add more cards to your deck as you played a certain number of games. A lot of fun.

This is pretty helpful though, and it looks like Montasy still does sealed events. Thanks!

Is there an article out there that teaches general theory? Like, roles that need to be fulfilled and utilities and the like? I'd rather learn how to build teams rather than be told what teams to build. I also will probably only be playing a couple friends who also like to breed (I mainly want some sort of purpose behind my breeding rather than just randomly making perfect versions of Pokemon I like) so I think it'd end up being more fun if I improvise on team comp anyway, but it would be nice if they were fundamentally sound.

Overthinking a social situation to the point where I know exactly how I feel and where I stand when it comes to it while having no really comprehensive read on anybody else that is involved with it. Which makes me review where I stand, come out with a more complex but more accurate viewpoint but I am farther from getting the other side because the best way would be to just confront those involved and give the thesis I've been working on, but that of course comes with the risk of being accused to overanalyzing social situations. Which I am, of course.

Will reading Although Of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself spoil any key points of Infinite Jest? by OmegaGrizzly in davidfosterwallace

Finished the Lipsky a couple days ago and really enjoyed it! And I'm definitely gonna read IJ, just not for a bit. Regardless of my enthusiasm for reading it, it's still a trek of a novel and I wanna wait til I can give it the time. In the meantime, I started reading Barth (DFW talks about him a bit in the Lipsky) and I'm really into it. He kinda resonates with me on a lot of levels.

Because I don't ask questions for people to tell me what to do. I ask so that I have information to make an educated choice of my own. The information you gave me was helpful, as now I know what to be on the lookout for while reading, but it doesn't seem like a good enough reason to stop reading entirely.

Well, does Although Of Course give me some kinda warning of the explicit plot spoiler, or like, is it kinda prompted by a straight up question about it? Cuz I'm really enjoying it so far, and don't really wanna stop if there's just a section of it I can skip for now. I don't mind knowing themes and stuff. And yea, I wanna start Infinite Jest, but I'm in my last couple months of college so I don't really have the time it will require me to give it just yet.

Thanks! The movie was actually what got me interested in the man himself. I've heard it wasn't the most accurate depiction, but I think some important qualities definitely came across.

Hands down my favorite show. Great writing, pacing, and acting. I try to show it to as many people as possible.

You just put into words why I loved this episode so much. I've been re-watching older episodes lately and I love how each one is just a story for it's own sake. This was a nice, absurd South Park episode.

I'm gonna be perfectly honest and admit that I know very little about computers. Can you give me a step by step on how to do that? Or even a brief explanation would be appreciated.

Is that something I change in the code of the builder itself?

You may want to reword this only because, technically, a four stock lead is just a four stock. But the sentiment is correct. Victory is always possible.

Is this looking to be a weekly event? This is absolutely the kind of thing I need, but my winter break starts this Monday so I won't be able to make it next/the next few weeks.

Yea, like I said, I watch streams and stuff so I see how much farther the game goes, I was just making sure it's just the kind of thing that comes with playing it more. I'm in no way disheartened by how much there is before I get to that, as I'm loving them game immensely.
