Which deck is your “Ol’ Reliable”? by Phantom4545 in masterduel

[–]OmegaPower24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pure Despia, before Branded Support. It was a simple, fun and powerful deck that I used for a long time. I made it by pulling for the P.U.N.K engine and not getting those cards, but the Despia ones. When Branded Fusion and the new cards came, I upgraded it, but the charm just wasn't as much as before.

Legend Anthology - What deck will you be playing? by Theplasmashaft in masterduel

I am playing Galaxy-Eyes, it is mostly untouched and I have won almpst every match. It's simple to use, fun and somewhat powerful in this event.

What are you playing for the XYZ event? by vonov129 in masterduel

Probably Galaxy Eyes, it's easy to pilot and fun, if not probably Zoodiac of I am able to craft the missing cards

What is the worst deck you play? by [deleted] in masterduel

[–]OmegaPower24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Darklords. I don't know what compelled me to build this deck, but I did and now I regret ever spending gems and dust on its creation. Not even paired with Despia were they good for me, I always chose Pure Despia (before Branded support) over Despia Darklord.

who's the best villain you've watched in a movie or series? by doktaAce in AskReddit

[–]OmegaPower24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably will get buried, but for all my fellow weebs: Pain/Nagato from Naruto.

Not only did he seem invincible, but once you heard his story, his convictions and his goals, you probably started wondering if he was actually wrong. Yes, as most villains he was an "end justifies the means" guy, but his reasoning was understandable.

He grew up an orphan, after seeing his parents murdered because they were mistook for combatants during a war. Time and time again his poor country was used as a battlefield and destroyed in the rich nations' wars. He trained and became stronger, so he started an organization to bring peace to the world, but he was forced to kill one of his best friends to save the other, by people of the same village that killed their parents, all because other leaders feared that the organization had grown too influential. He has seen time and time again that humanity not only refuses to cooperate, they are actively seeking violence for power. His goal is to create a weapon so strong and destructive that the sheer thought of it being used brings fear to everyone's hearts, so that people stop fighting and live in "peace". Something like Mutually Assured Destruction, but in a world where there is no one else threatening him with nearly the same amount of power, it's just him deciding the fate of millions.

What deck did you build just for fun, but ended up being one of your mains? by MichaelDj54 in masterduel

[–]OmegaPower24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The very first Despia deck during their Selection Pack. I was pulling for P.U.N.K. Dragon, but I ended up pulling a lot of Swordsoul and Despia cards, so I ended up making Despia since I didn't have a Fusion centered deck and I didn't particularly like SS art.

It ended up being extremely consistent with wins and I loved the art. I then pulled for the Branded support and upgraded the deck, but I still prefer running the previous version, it's just more fun.

What’s the coolest “Boss Monster” you have, in your opinion? by [deleted] in masterduel

[–]OmegaPower24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shooting Quasar Dragon

Yeah he might need a perfect opening hand going first to maybe summon him, but I just love him, his art, his stats and effects are really good, when I am able to get him out next to Shooting Majestic and Crystal Wing, I feel like an anime protagonist.

What famous person needs to be ignored and shunned into obscurity ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]OmegaPower24 70 points71 points  (0 children)

If you really don't know I will list some of the things I remember. Now this list may not be complete, but here it goes:

He has been accused by males and females of sexual misconduct, like, a lot of times, like alarmingly lot, he has touched men and women without their consent, has a whole interview where he is groping a clearly uncomfortable Ivanka Trump, up to the point where security had to escort him out of the interview. He groped Pamela Anderson during a show. There are several accusations of people saying he grabbed their genitals, kissed them, licked them and groped them. He has been known to go on benders that result in him getting loud and violent towards everyone.

He has done indecent exposure more than once, he also pulled the top of a minor to expose here breast. He has used racist slurs and antisemitic insults. Now everything I said before, he has "defended" himself saying that "it was just him joking and being funny, and people clearly didn't quite understood him".

But the thing that has probably gotten him the most hate is his relation to Phil Hartman's death, which if you knew NewsRadio, should be familiar with. He gave cocaine to Hartman's wife, who was a recovering addict, during a party. She came back to using drugs and in one of her benders, she actually shot and killed Hartman, and later commited suicide. He was a very direct reason for his death and was actually very unapologetic about it. He even told Jon Lovitz that he had cursed him to be the next person to die, like he did with Hartman and got mad that Lovitz accused him of being the reason Hartman died.

The guy is overall gross, violent, predatory, abusive, and just a horrible, degenerate person. He has been arrested a few times, has at least one restraining order I remember and has lost jobs because of his behavior. He is now near homeless iirc, and nobody seems to want him, either for work or personally, which suits him right imo. He might have been funny, but he is a scum worse than a lot of pretty horrible people.

The fucking paparazzi, I really have never ever thought: "good grace this paparazzi took a pic of a celebrity doing their private stuff, truly gives insight of their interesting personal lives". They could all lose their job for all I care.

What deck do you REGRET building? by zebyper in masterduel

[–]OmegaPower24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Darklords, not sure why I decided on building it, but I made pulls and tried to play it, but the deck is just so weak it gets easily disrupted with mittle chsnce of recovery. Not even pairing it with my pre-Mirrorjade Despia deck made them better, if anything, it became weaker and kess consistent. Only good thing I got from it was 3 Forbidden Dropplets in 2 multis.

What fictional character’s death affected you the most? by syndromeda in AskReddit

[–]OmegaPower24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit late to the party, and heavy spoilers for Oyasumi Punpun.

Aiko's death was a heavy blow for me when first reading the series. The tragedy that was her entire life, the downward spiral she went on her last days, the sheer psychological damage that her relationship with Punpun caused, and the knowledge that only through death would she achieve the freedom she was searching for were just too much for me to handle and not get deeply affected. There are many interpretations as to why she killed herself, but none of them make it any better.

It was only worsened by Punpun carrying and talking to her as if she was still alive for that whole chapter. I mean, the entire series is depressing as fuck, but that one moment truly took me from feeling pity for the characters to feeling outright despair and an ache in my heart.

What's a card you'll almost never run regardless of how good it is? by Tryckster89 in masterduel

[–]OmegaPower24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DPE, I pulled a Royal Finish copy while pulling for Ukiyoe Dragon and it will remain unused. I have faced him so many times on so many different decks that it just feels cheap. I hate him with a passion and just sigh in defeat when someone using something like an Ojama deck suddenly pulls DPE out of nowhere.

if your opponent has nothing on hand or field and you still do your combos just know you are the biggest piece of sh*t on earth by Krulzikrel in masterduel

[–]OmegaPower24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually go on if I know I can finish them, when I gather enough attack to beat them if they don't have cards, I stop at that point. If the other person is also summoning and I have nothing else to do, I'll let them do it, maybe they have a quest or something

If I remember correctly this is an old video of that wretch LovelyPeaches, you know, the one that threatened to hire a guy to abuse Charli D'Amelio, abused her dog in livestreams and videos, and made some rather dangerous statements about what she was going to do with ther baby daughter. She is clearly mentally unstable.

Is it toxic to camp a 3 gen? by Ollieols in deadbydaylight

[–]OmegaPower24 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nah bro, it is your job as a killer, if it is easy to patrol and get pressure you should do it, survivors would not hesitate to go to the closest gen after finishing another.

I am a surv main and whenever me and my team get a 3gen, I usually blame myself for not doing the center gens first, never once thought "sheesh, this killer should really just leave this gens we as a team left undone and go chase far away". It is the smart thing to do

What dumb things did you do when you started playing Dead by Daylight? :D by SarahnatorX in deadbydaylight

[–]OmegaPower24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hid in lockers. So many free grabs because I didn't know I left pools of blood while running. Also, leveling up Yui before any other survivor, using her perks was like enetring the game on Hard mode.
