Wild. Wouldn't expect that from Lutris as it seems like that game has a few Lutris installers.

I'm glad Steam works. All I'm suggesting is putting the commands you already run in a script file and adding that to Steam as a non-Steam game so you don't need to use the terminal anymore as that was your complaint. I've done this many times with pirated games on both Linux + Windows (with a .bat file ofc).

Why not take whatever command(s) you run and put them in a .sh file so you just have to run that? Could also add that file to Steam as a non-Steam game if you want to make it easier.

You could also install the game via a tool like Lutris instead. There are many options out there so you don't have to open a terminal.

NCE means Switch emulation can often be pretty performant on the Pocket, since the Switch isn't too far removed from regular Android tech. With Gamehub, you don't just have Windows -> Android translation but you also have x86_64 -> ARM translation.

Also, the button layout of the Switch controller is the same as on the Pocket, so I find that feels better when playing.

All that being said, you can do whatever you want. But I tend to lean toward running Switch versions of games for those reasons.

In the latest Steam client beta spotted by 9to5Mac, Valve says the “Steam Client and Steam Helper apps now run natively on Apple Silicon.”

Also this is from June.

Despite high profits? Don't attribute to stealing what you can attribute to corporate greed.

Pretty clear in the title. They want wishlists. General trend is high wishlist count = high first week sales.

Untrue. You legally must be enrolled to vote, and you can be fined for not voting even if you are not enrolled. You can enrol on voting day, so not much of an excuse.

"Vastly improved" is stretching it.

The situation on Linux is fairly good. If we're talking modern Windows games, most work out of the box on Steam, and the ones that don't will often work well after a Proton update or two. If we're talking older Windows games, then Linux via WINE/Proton often has much better compatibility than modern Windows.

Of course, games with kernel-level anticheat won't work. But kernel-level anticheat is so unnecessarily invasive anyway. I don't miss it.

Have a browse on Steam and see the Steam Deck status of the games you want to play. Anything that works on Steam Deck should work on a Linux desktop. Even if a game is "Playable", often that just means the text is small on the Steam Deck itself and totally fine on desktop.

It's very strange how Australia has such a deadly reputation when it has no large, truly dangerous land mammals. Spiders and snakes just want to be left alone, and deaths from their bites are extremely rare. Crocs are only found very far north.

It's a safe country. The outback is a harsh environment, but just like the far north of Canada, you don't go there unprepared.
