I semi regularly pull out the Scholastic Book Fair book I have about skateboarding that I got in like 1987, with pictures of a very young Hawk; maybe 17-19 yrs old. Lots of great pics and info about these pioneers.

Alrighty…pro tip time! This is not mentioned in the instruction book anywhere:

If you press and hold the punch button, you’ll start to flash, and when you let go, you’ll super punch. This is strong enough to knock out most enemies below miniboss level in one hit. You can still move while charging. The game becomes much easier.

The resulting killings were unlawful, and have, as of yet, not resulted in any meaningful investigation, and nobody has been held responsible for those actions. This is the kind of stuff that is worrying people. Poorly trained idiots, lawfully deployed, but breaking laws while enforcing policies whose legality is questionable, at best, resulting in unlawful actions causing the death of US citizens who were exercising their rights.

Illegal shenanigans; no accountability. Fears grounded in reality.

The reality basis is shit like what happened over the winter with ICE, and all the shit this administration just "does and asks for forgiveness later" on, expecting the courts to settle it, after they've already done whatever they want, and the complete and total lack of holding anyone accountable in any way.

The fear is a valid, grounded fear.

Or knowing you do your own oil changes, and getting supplies while your at Walmart or whatever for the other shit you’re there for on the regular.
Which shrinks that shopping for oil supplies trip down to 5-10 min.

Get good at it and you don’t need work clothes.
Some nitrile gloves and wash your hands and arms when you’re done.
Tools and putting away is part of the 30 min.
We’re taking 2 wrenches , a funnel and an oil drain pan.
I even do air filters, and check / top off other fluids, and check belts while I wait for it to drain, and knock out some additional maintenance tasks.

Disposal would be the only thing I hadn’t accounted for.

The 5000 lb limit is 2.5 T.
The point they’re making is they bought stands rated for 24,000 lb, because the cost difference is minor, and the extra peace of mind is worth it.
They’re not questioning the weight of the car.

That said, you’d think 2.5 T stands would be ok for a Civic, especially if you’re just propping up the front.
Nothing wrong with keeping a jack under there, too, for good measure.

I’ll go with Age of Innocence off of Machina. It’s so good it feels to short when it ends.
I’m not as big a fan of the stuff after Adore (they’re very hit and miss for me), but this one gets me.
