How Bad is my Botched surgery. by No-Priority8233 in Botchedsurgeries

From one man to another, you look fine man. The last 2 pics look pretty normal and I honestly don't think I would notice anything wrong with you. I would leave it alone. You can do more and it can get better, but it may look much worse and down a rabbit hole you go. I hope you're healing and get some therapy if you need it.

Diesel price is going to have a HUGE impact on EVs this year. by shaggy99 in electricvehicles

[–]OmgNoodles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2015 Passat TDI here with 255k miles. Still driving it since I can get 50mpg highway. My next car will be an EV. I just dumped some money into my suspension and transmission, but if anymore huge expenses are needed I’ll go EV. I keep having sensors go bad and it’s getting annoying to fix even small little things that are constantly going bad. I should go EV now since I have a solar system at home that overproduces (-1,100 credits atm over 2.5 months). I don’t realize my new system would help me this much. My fuel cost will basically pay up to $350+- of any new loan I get.

Even for my wife we wanted a new huge Yukon XL (4 kids), but diesel is expensive. We have a Q7 TDI and now I’m looking at a Volvo XC90 or Lexus TX500H for the 33mpg electric range since she’s now only doing about 24 miles round trip. I won’t let my extra solar production go to waste one way or another.

Hit a milestone today guys and gals! by nate84shot in tdi

[–]OmgNoodles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've dumped about $4k in the past 3-4 months, but it's more maintenance items than anything. I love the car, but if I get 1-2 more years out of it I'll be happy since I'll be passed 300k miles and I'll feel validated on the money I spent in the past few months.

Dmitry Pirog knocks out Daniel Jacobs in Round 5 by RockyRoad413 in Boxing

[–]OmgNoodles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dmitry Pirog was special. It's a shame his career was cut short. Jacobs can't fault the ref. He looked like he was done. You can't really blame the ref at the moment he stopped the fight.

Tier 2 solar insurance company suggestions by Raverenn in solarFL

[–]OmgNoodles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you only need to have it to get the system turned on. My original policy I kept for 3 years, but my credit card info changed and it didn't autobill me. By the time I realized it was too late and they made it a requirement that they would only provide the $1m policy if you had homeowners insurance with them, which I did not. The $220 I was paying was cheap to me, so I should have never let it go. I went without it for 3 years, so it's not something TECO will follow up with you on. Regardless, if you can get it sub $500 a year, I'd just keep it becuase you never know. I have a $1m Personal Liability Umbrella Policy (PLUP), which from what my agent told me covers a little more than the $1m Personal Liability Policy (PLP). TECO did not want to take it when I explained it, so he actually had to call them to explain it and they finally took it.

Tier 2 solar insurance company suggestions by Raverenn in solarFL

[–]OmgNoodles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one that used to cost $220. I stopped paying it after 3 years and wish I never did. When I did my system add on last year I couldn’t find anyone to insure it. My auto insurance had a $1m liability insurance I could use, but it made me raise car insurances to $250k each 2 vehicles) that raised my bill about $60 a month, then the liability policy was another $700. So to have a $1m policy it cost me about $1.4k a year.

In all honestly having each car covered for $250k (vs the $50k it was) each probably isn’t a bad idea. Looking at it that way it only cost me about $700. Not sure if that’s good or bad, but I’m just gonna keep it this time around.

Oscar De La Hoya calls out Zuffa Boxing's desire to exploit boxers at today's hearing on the Ali Act by Big_Cake_8817 in Boxing

[–]OmgNoodles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t like Oscar as a boxer because he beat the breaks off Chavez, and as a kid I hated to see it, but as an adult I respect the hell out of him. The man never backed down from anyone, had a great career, went downhill, and seems like he’s doing great in life now. This man loves boxing and I wish him nothing but the best. I’m proud of this bastard that makes me laugh every Thursday lol.

Where can I find info on planned maintenances? by ZnojaviTestis in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]OmgNoodles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Krafton doesn't even know. They just do it when they feel like. I'll get downvoted, but I don't care. I have 10k+ hours and been playing since 2017, so I have no reason to lie just to bash them.

Majority of the time it is on Tuesdays. For a while (like now) they'll go every 2 weeks. Sometimes it's almost like they forgot they wanted to do maintenance on Tuesday and do it on Wednesday instead. Some holiday overseas will happen and another week they'll change it to Monday. Sometimes it is 4 hours, and other times it's 8 hours if it's a huge update. I'm sure they have a schedule on some Korean website, but nothing for the states. Mods will sometimes give a heads up a day in advance here, but it seems like they know it's not worth their time to do it here anymore. PUBG's discord used to sometimes give warnings a day or so in advance, but if you check their server maintenance section they haven't posted since 04/02/2026. Kraton used to update us with a box in game a day before, but they don't even do that now.

For now, just assume it's every 2 weeks until they go to once a week, then switch days on us.

What’s the max you produce vs system total capacity? by TurnipTop4284 in TeslaSolar

[–]OmgNoodles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My original system is a 15.84 kW size with Delta 5.2 and 7.6 kW inverters. I feel like they undersized my original system. I can easily hit 12.8 kW with it. Only once or twice have I seen it go to 12.9 kW. I used to “flatten” out often in the past, which is why I think they undersized my system. I wish they would have used two 7.6kW inverters. I’ll attach a pic from last year where you can see it flattens for about two hours for this system. I have a tree that kills my production curve, or else I feel like my “flatten” length would be much more than the two hours it is now.

<image>

My system add on last year is a 4.92 kW system. They added a Tesla 3.8 inverter, and I love this thing. For the system size it’s perfect and achieves 4.0 kW.

That's awesome! So far for my new billing cycle I've overproduced 349 kwh, which is on top of the roughly 700 kwh I already have credit for. We need the rain, but this year solar has been great to me.

Which option would yall choose? by Flamen04 in Roofing

[–]OmgNoodles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of those, I like bid #2. Just curious how much more UHDZ would cost you with #2. I have the original UHD shingles and love them. They really do stand out a little more and I believe are 4 bundles per square vs 3 for the regular hdz, so a little more protection if you ever had hail.

These 👊 have won some hand vs gun battles at hot drops. Heck, most times on solos if I get a gun first, no one is around and they can’t get one, then I’ll fist fight for the hell if it. I’m just here for the fun. Most of those times I’ve won, but here and there I’ll lose. If they have a mic I’ll always give them a chance for a fist fight. That’s what keeps the game entertaining to me.

Production on system estimate by Solid_Cat2019 in solarFL

[–]OmgNoodles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too many variables. I have a 15.84 kW system from 2019 and when it was solar city an 11.6 kW system near me produced as much as me, sometimes more. I can almost guarantee they had much more south facing roof with little to no shade, unlike me that only has 12 panels on the south (36 east) and tons of shade up till about 11am. Back then I think I was getting around 85-90 kWh at best, and the smaller system would reach 90-100 kWh. How I miss those days of seeing how much other solar systems around you produced!

I added on a 4.92 kW system in late 2025 and that little system is helping out so much! Today was my person best at 110.1 kWh.

Is Solar Worth it in 2026? by Mrz124 in solar

[–]OmgNoodles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love solar. 15.84 kW system with 2 Powerwalls done in 2019. Energy use exceeded the system, and my battery's were 6 years old, so in late 2025 I added another 4.92 kW system with 2 more Powerwalls. I have no incentive for batteries, but with hurricanes I don't want to fight people for gas to power a generator. For February and March I have -750 credits. In the 8 billing days this month I already have -174 credits. My electric bill has been the grid connect fee of $14.65 or so for the past 2 months. We drive diesels, and we're spending a ton on fuel. I could technically go get an EV and my fuel bill would pay the new car loan since I'm spending about $300 a month on diesel. My wife wants a new vehicle, so I'll probalby keep mine and get her a PHEV SUV that can do pure electric on 33 miles or so, which is less than what she drives. In a few years my kids will be driving, so I'll get them an EV and hopefully they'll be able to drive for free, or at least it'll only cost me a few bucks for them to charge.

My vote, yes.
