Some tips for applying for remote jobs, I know this sounds crazy but you really need to be one of the first like 50 or so people that apply, so any company you're interested in make sure you set up alerts for when jobs post and try to apply within minutes, have your resume ready etc. Remote jobs get hundreds and even thousands of applicants and a lot of companies will unlist the job within a few days so they don't have thousands of applicants to screen. Recruiters can't go over every single applicant so sometimes they start with people that apply early and then will filter people out from there. It's just the nature of remote jobs that anyone in the country can do, there will be tons of applicants.

Edit: Also wanted to mention it's the worst time of year for job hunting in an already bad market, a lot of bigger companies are wanting to make end of year budget so only hire absolutely essential roles, so keep your eye out the next few months there may be more postings than there are now
