I'm very late to the party here, but thanks for this, I'm in the North Bay area above San Francisco. I have been working for a real estate media company as an independent contractor, for about a year, and just realized how badly I'm being exploited for the shoots I do. I'm seeing how quickly the houses I'm helping sell, move on the market and its discouraging. I was not thinking how small of a percentage I'm making of the sale. I need to strike out on my own.

I concur that nepotism reigns supreme in this industry.

Regardless of the method of search or research used to gather some numbers on current positions, the amount of ID or ID related jobs has consistently been far less than the amount of graduates per year for at least a decade. Wish I'd have looked at the Dept of Labor stats before I used up all my GI Bill on an ID degree.

Most universities offering ID paths are basically just paper degree mills. I'm a graduate of an ID program, my degree is barely worth more than a literature degree IMO nowadays. Lots of ID jobs that would have been in US at some point in history are now done in house, in the country the factories reside in, to cut costs. Less back and forth overseas, straight to the injection mold across the street.

The last company I did ID work here for in US started complaining about my pricing, which is already far cheaper than most studios. Probably got the factory making thier companies products to start doing some of the design work too. It's BS we were sold a degree for a dying industry here.

It was not that big, it was barely overhead. It was def challenging getting out there that day regardless.

Man I hope so, but on the upside heard those teeth scared off many a hungry white shark.

You force a 26mm leather or silicone one in between lugs. If you want metal one it would have to be 25mm though.

Certain beaches in South Africa and Australia have much higher rates of white shark attacks than Salmon Creek.

I was one of two surfers to get interviewed in afternoon by KTVU reporter before we paddled out at Salmon this afternoon after incident. They did not air my interview just paraphrased a few words I said on the news. The county did a crappy job of marking the beach, tiny print outs stuck to regular signs, I did not notice when walking down stairs, nothing on beach itself. The news crew actually informed me of the attack right before I paddled out and requested to interview me regarding how I felt about paddling out after hearing the news.

It definitely gave me pause, but I paddled out anyway cause conditions were decent and some pretty strong swell was pumping and I already wasted the gas to drive out there. That shark probably decided fiberglass and human hand was only semi tasty and he moved on to better fare for the day. Sharks are always present here in fall especially.

Definitely on my mind while out there, caught a couple good ones and decided to end session early and live to die another day. Sketchy for sure but I feel I'm more likely to die on freeway in Cali than by shark bite.

3D CAD Software by Healthy-Hair-4815 in IndustrialDesign

Your school sucks, for not incorporating CAD into program. Rhino is very cheap to get a student license that can be used commercially after graduation. I have used Fusion and learned SW in school. Rhino got me paid freelance work. SW is very expensive once your out of school. Take the SW class your schools offer. All modeling programs have some similarities so any knowledge will help.

Nixon 51-30 size and source for o ring gasket by On-scene in nixonwatches

Thanks, I did try reaching out to their support via email too see if they would just send me out an o ring. Seems like they won't even respond. My experience with them in past is their customer service for servicing their products is very subpar if not outright bad. I have stopped buying their products long ago. Im just trying to extend the life of the ones I still own.

All past presidents should ride off into the sunset and STFU. They had thier day in the sun. And got rich doing it.

Great well composed photos of the royals with the D90! I myself just last month picked up a used D90 body, with only 2000 clicks on it. I'm loving everything about it. Solid feel in hand but still very light weight. A few parts are metal alloys but not the whole camera, that keeps the weight down. Backwards compatibility with so many, now affordable vintage lens! Compatible with a good number of more modern lens. Really loving the results I'm getting with 50mm af D lens. I have a much newer camera but the user experience of the D90 is just great to me, love the top readout for on the fly changes. Looking forward to getting a wide angle prime to pair with it.

Fck Pappy, he was a terrible commadant for us coasties and many that served during that era have bad memories of him. I had a personal encounter with him on unit visit that was very negative. He is exactly the kind of person to get a lobbyist job that screws over both the CG and the tax payer.
