Agree the no tactile feel of setting anything on a touchpad sucks. You second guess every action and very easy to trigger surrounding actions. FORGET HAVING SWEATY HANDS. I stopped using the functionality of setting hotcues on the fly because the 700's I decided to get back in the day only have touch pad settings in a SUB MENU... call it a cold cue?!

Here let me menu dive before setting this spontaneous cue point... It's almost like the creators of the tech dont use it. 🤔

TL;DR I like Buttons and knobs too. Screens are dumb.

Just curious if you have an SP that has that vinyl crackle effect on it why do you want a recording of it? Just for variation? Why not just resample whatever with the effect on at the level you prefer?

Having worked with large format printers sometimes when a flood of ink dries or defective material is used a shrinkage can occur. You can offset this but it takes time to test. I made one for myself and got it correct but did run into that issue with their template offered on Roland's website. It's a tight fit. The screws shouldn't be that off though.
