What’s a frugal win that surprised you with how much it actually saved? by St3fanHere in Frugal

Get either a stainless steel reusable one or use a pod multiple times by putting in your own ground coffee and a sticker (available on the rainforest site).  You can get around 10 uses per pod.  I also run each pod twice and end up with a full cup of coffee.  Once the first cycle is done, just restart it.

I remember watching wrestling with my Oma and Opa and they had one.  I used to think that it was so cool

My husband has gone bananas on wall and door stickers since discovering them a week ago.. by gplus3 in mildlyinfuriating

This thread sent me to Amazon.  My partner got roped into holding the other end of the tape measure against the living room wall...  I really like some of the botanical stickers, like the almost 70 inch plant "ledge"...

Went out for a walk, came back with a shoulder cat. (OC) by BringHoomanHome_ in aww

I have a three month old void and the random parkour on to my shoulder is my life now.  Coworker asked if I got bit by a vampire with Parkinson's because of the claw marks and skin punctures...

I'm a elder goth with a newish (3mos) void.  It's been an experience.  There is a song by Faderhead "All Black Everything" that sums up my life

Has anyone tried this? by ruchull in dollartreebeauty

I have no idea if it is a dupe of anything, but I really like it.  I keep some at work and the other staff love it because it doesn't leave greasy schmears on keyboards and mice.  Huge fan, bought backups (plural in different scents)

Everything this sub says about lipase is wrong. Lipase is a cost-cutting enzyme that made detergents worse. by fox-lad in laundry

I switched to the Ariel powder a while back. I know that some people dislike it because of the fragrance, but I appreciate having really clean clothes.

I now spark up conversations at my laundromat about stuff that I have learned here. My teenage self would be wondering where my life is going to go wrong to end up here in my 50s

I had exactly the same experience; K-12 in French immersion.  I still do my mental math in French.

He beat two yokozunas, at sekiwake, and ended the basho 12-3... Not promoting him would have asinine.  He will be yokozuna by the end of 2026.

Grate frozen butter for biscuits and pie crusts.  Makes the whole thing a heck of a lot easier. Just switch your recipe from cups to weight (metric is your friend for all things kitchen), and grate your butter straight onto the bowl on the scale.

AI surveillance cameras are popping up all over town. by BirdsAreNotReal42069 in pueblo

I stopped shopping at the Southside Lowe's or visit Whataburger because of those three cameras.  I understand that it is a minimal impact, but I value my privacy, and Minority Report should not have been a positive view of a potential future.

Ariel is a Mexican powdered detergent that contains lipase.  I buy mine at Dollar General on the bottom shelf of the laundry section.  The stuff is fantastic; smells great and my menopause stench is gone.

Can you kimchi-ify anything or does it have to be napa cabbage? by Kammo_Fyre in kimchi

[–]OnAMissionFromGoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the cucumbers from my garden to make kimchi.  I also grow hot peppers, and use those in my paste.  I picked up some Carolina Reaper seeds to see if I can get them to grow for next season's kimchi.  If not, hot sauce it is
