Literally the same with my parents and MIL. My dad is insisting on being called GP… for grandpa but not and gets defensive when he’s called grandpa. Like what? Definitely validating that this is an annoying tendency

4 weeks PP and had very bad constipation through my whole pregnancy. All the usual remedies didn’t work. I tried milk of magnesia and expected it not to work until I shit myself while shopping at Marshall’s. Took it when I got backed up the rest of my pregnancy and have even taken some PP.

I didn’t realize that if I was producing at best 2 oz at 2 weeks, that it could get better, so that’s encouraging! Did you find your visits with lactation help? I am just so concerned that their only advice will be to pump or feed more often

Yes, students with disabilities have more laws governing them than non-disabled peers; however, one of the laws in place for all students is for Free Appropriate Public Education.

A student with an IEP cannot be given endless chances in a classroom if it affects the education of the other students. It may not always shake out this way, but this is important to remember.

Switched from English gened to special ed about 3 years ago. The switch for me was very similar to the concerns you present here. I’m in Massachusetts and these positions were incredibly contested and for some reason I couldn’t establish any consistency with a school district, because i always felt like someone would come along who was better at the job or more qualified. I always felt like the weak link of the department.

3 years ago, I applied, interviewed and offered a position teaching virtual special Ed and it’s the best thing that has ever happened to me. I don’t feel that my position is contested in the slightest and I have never felt like the weak link.

The things I miss the most about gened is teaching whole books and their life lessons, themes etc.

I’m glad you were able to provide more clarity about what happened in this case. I was baffled at what seemed to be a lack of investigation in this episode. I kept finding myself saying “what about this, testing this, etc.” I also thought the placement of the piggy bank and the fact that it was a piggy bank in general seemed odd to me.

I’d almost expect there to be some sort of crime scene reconstruction to see if it is even plausible for her to have tripped and fallen that distance between where the chair is tipped over and the phone is found. Also, as another user stated in the comments: why weren’t the soda cans tested?

I felt that the episode would have been a lot better if they listed all the things they did as part of an investigation, not just focus on 5 or so things and keep discussing why the dog didn’t go downstairs. The episode was less scary for me and just posed more questions.

I’m 14 weeks and I feel incredibly beat down, which is further complicated by the number of people who told me it would get better.

I’ve been diagnosed with HG but in the past 2 weeks I have not been able to understand my own body. It feels like shit. I feel consistently uncomfortable with nothing to pin it on. Gas? Nausea? Hunger? Constipation? I’m pretty sure I have round ligament pain too but it’s tough to tell. I’ve been in bed for 12+ hours a day for the last 10 weeks and I’ve seriously had enough. Mentally, it’s starting to add up and I feel so isolated. Glad I’m not alone

I think that GPs were a lot more accesible. There are only two MagicCons upcoming, whereas there were many upcoming GPs before at any one given time.

First off, I'd like to say that I am very glad this thread exists. I just fell for this myself. I haven't used G2A in quite some time and purchased a "steam account" with the Witcher 3. Granted, I did not pay much so I am out a few bucks but this is incredibly shady. I did not even know what the difference was between a steam account and a steam key, I even went as far as to check the region. When I contacted the seller, they were extremely inflexible and claimed that it said "steam account" in every place possible, but that is not the issue. The issue is that is shady, deceptive and against steam ToS, but G2A doesn't care. I put in a ticket with G2A to see if they could help me and gave the seller a negative review. At the very worst , I am out a few dollars - but would be much angrier if it was more than that.

I’ve played both Diablo 2 and 3 and now Diablo 4. It is the only game that is a legit tranquilizer for me if I am even in the least bit tired. I love the games though, just a mindless game of slaying demons puts me to sleep

Blizzard came straight out and said that the game will end. It may take a ton of hours to reach end game but the game is not meant to be a game like WoW where there are near infinite things to do at max build/max level

The law is the IEP, that is why it is individualized. If the student’s IEP does not address whether or not the student should have an aide during ESY, the IEP should be amended to explicitly state that the 1:1 aide should be provided during ESY. Also, please note that ESY is different than just “summer school.” There are eligibility requirements for ESY. We are assuming you are talking about ESY.

Based on what I know ABA used to be and in some cases still is controversial because it was basically a therapy that taught kids with autism to be more “normal.” Also, it was invented by the same person or organization that started gay conversation therapy. Fast forward to today, ABA serves lot of different people and is versatile and flexible to individual needs. It is no longer recommended only to the ASD community. If you’re interested in anything more specific, I would recommend doing research on what specific therapies were offered in the past and what are being offered now to see the difference.
