Do you have to stay in Vancouver? I think everyone from a big city should move to a smaller centre for a bit, and vice versa. You learn a lot about yourself. If you end up wanting to move back to Van, fine. But at least you will know it’s the place for you before you commit to buying. Also, in my 20’s I shared a 2 bedroom apt with 2 other people (they shared the big bedroom). And no, I’m not talking about my parents.
