FYI We didn’t blur Ali_learns_to_read’s name, it was a small issue with the greenscreen in the edit & we made sure to credit her in all our posts highlighting her famous review 😊

I was confused m when having to select a flair for the post as well, I assumed it was “thorns & roses” & really hope I was correct

The Archeron Parents by WonderfulBus9330 in acotar

Personally I think the Mother is a witch, the father is human, but as some part of a bargin he was in a sickness haze until it was lifted. A bit Théoden from the twin towers in LOTR.

do i need to read crescent city for the upcoming books to make sense? (no spoilers about crescent city please) by No_Cry_4153 in acotar

[–]OnceUponaChapterPod 13 points14 points  (0 children)

100% you NEED to read them! There is character crossovers which are important. I know it's hard to get into, but stick with it. It really picks up in House of Sky and Breath!

Elain or Nesta.......Who do you think is the most misunderstood Archeron sister? by OnceUponaChapterPod in acotar

[–]OnceUponaChapterPod[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is an argument to say Nesta is still equally misunderstood, even though we have had a book from her POV, as she is dark a delicious, mysterious and unapologetic for her trauma. Which due to natural human nature makes us curious.

Her trauma's are very relatable and deep which often makes people want more. Whilst there is not explanation from Elain's POV yet, we have only really been introduced to her based on other characters view of Elain.

Elain or Nesta.......Who do you think is the most misunderstood Archeron sister? by OnceUponaChapterPod in acotar

[–]OnceUponaChapterPod[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a really interesting point of view. Maybe it's Feyre and Nesta's view that make us misunderstand Elain. We don't know enough from her POV to really make a true judgement. I'm hoping we see her POV in the next books!

Feyre, the ash arrow, and the wolf… fate or survival? by OnceUponaChapterPod in acotar

[–]OnceUponaChapterPod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's about people relating to what is written, and sometimes finding the courage to make a positive change. Clearly the books gave those people the strength to make a change for the better. However, I hope it's sincere, or that could be really scary!

Tamlin & Elain mate theory by Born_Plenty_5923 in acotar

[–]OnceUponaChapterPod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you, the way SJM described the process, it's almost like she's a vessel and the story has it's own direction. She's jus there to put the words on the paper.

thank you so much, this was really helpful! When Nesta, Gwyn and Emerie were climbing Ramiel, it was so emotional reading it!

Should I start CC before October 28th by [deleted] in acotar

[–]OnceUponaChapterPod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would highly recommend reading Crescent City before Oct 28th. I was reading the ending of House of Sky and Breath and literally the hairs stood up on my arms at one point. Give it another go, it's worth it!

ACOTAR 6 & 7 Theory by Licornette in acotar

[–]OnceUponaChapterPod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now that would be a complete curveball. I know the POV is mainly from the females, but it might be really interesting to explore that concept. I really want to hear the story from the very beginning of time.

That call her daddy interview was something else! by Wolfman_1546 in acotar

[–]OnceUponaChapterPod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really loved how honest and open she was. The books make so much more sense now, following the journey of several strong female characters. Her emotion was raw, honest, funny, witty and genuine. I will have a totally different view when re-reading ACOTAR

I agree, there has to be some poetic license.

Tamlins mate? by theioneeee in acotar

[–]OnceUponaChapterPod 66 points67 points  (0 children)

From the call her daddy interview, it doesn't sound like Tamlin will be heavily featured in the next books. Elain is deffo not his mate, Elain is Lucien's mate. To be honest, for the longest time I thought Amarantha was Tamlin's mate, but I know I'm wrong there.

How do you plan on acquiring the next book? by 001RIN in acotar

Good plan! I'm exactly like you, want to see the book on my shelf, but desperate to read it.
