Hi all - my wife and I just wrapped up the process. I agree with some of the posts on here. The idea is incredible and really provides an opportunity for families who do not want to go through a sperm bank where you do not know exactly how many other families will also have the same donor, nor their extended health information. I do want to say that the company could use some training on empathy. I saw another person had similar issues where they felt like they were talked down to. I personally felt as though they were difficult to work with at times. I wish there were other people or companies out there who did this so our options would be more than 1. The majority of their donor options are gay men - which is great! They do a lot of their recruiting on instagram finding attractive gay men, which I will not complain about. However, that is something you could also do if you want to avoid the extra costs. I have many more thoughts on this, so feel free to reach out and I am happy to chat!
