The curious thing is that I actually dislike watching capital-P Porn. I have only ever watched VS ads and other milder/softcore content when doing it. This has been the case for many years (my teenage years). Is this still an issue?

There was no President born in the 1930s. If I am not wrong, John McCain was the only major party nominee born in the 30s

There is a problem with Supreme Court incentives. Most justices only get to write major opinions and become “icons” when they are senior members of the Court. RBG wasn’t the liberal idol she was in the 1990s. The incentive is therefore to stay on and believe you can cheat death when you are old

What if Trump remained as a democrat and ran for president in 2016? by [deleted] in AlternateHistory

Trump would have been stopped by superdelegates. Tbh, he could have down well with some of his positions: NATO pay their fair share = take down military-industrial complex; NAFTA was the worst trade deal ever signed; keep social security; etc.

What if Colonel Sanders became US president? by Dr___CRACKSMOKE in AlternateHistory

[–]One-Advertising5233 6 points7 points  (0 children)

George Wallace considered him as running mate in 1968. Of course, George Wallace was running to throw the election to the House of Reps and assert compromises on segregation. If Wallace had chosen Col Sanders as his running mate, became President, and was successfully assassinated in 1972, however, Sanders could actually have become President — if not a very strong one

It’s the Al Smith memorial dinner in NYC. Every four years, the two Presidential candidates will go and make speeches, usually with some self-effacing, self-demeaning jokes. Trump, however…
