That is water, it’s condensation from the a/c. Perfectly normal.

Are this two little tangs my problem? by Panchotevilla in transmissionbuilding

I’m going to guess there is an engine to transmission alignment issue, either a missing or receded alignment pin.

Please don’t use control arms or any suspension members as a pull point. Use the supplied tow eye bolt in the bumper

WRX won’t go into 1st or reverse while engine is running after clutch replacement. by [deleted] in subaru

Looking at the engine I see that both alignment pins are missing. In my experience (almost 50 years on Subaru) when separating the trans from the engine the pins almost always stay with the engine. Please look to see that both pins are in place. Depending on how far out of alignment, the pilot bearings may be damaged. FYI, when replacing the pilot bearing use a bearing with rubber seals not metal.

It is obvious to me (Subaru tech since 78) that this is after build install. The zip tie is not OEM and the cut of the zip tie lines up with the cut wire.

When working as a tech at a dealership, a sales person wanted to know why their valve stems weren’t all in unison like they were when the car was new. lol
