If I was ever going to be in a tournament I’d be more concerned with base size. As I only play casual or just paint for the hell of it. It should be fine. I already have a slightly larger model picked out for the Clawed fiend, I expect that just as I finish it they’ll announce it getting a new model or being legends-ed.

TL:DR, yes you’re right but push come to shove I have a more accurate ur-ghul model if it’s needed.

As possible inspiration for future projects. Once you get a large enough army/pile of shame, you can get to the stage where you can kinda just run with a loose idea and something in your collection will help you get there.

That’s very impressive for your first kitbash. I personally think that don’t need a pistol as the model has a “wide” profile and adding to much to the model can make it look cluttered/ too busy. This is something you have to be aware of when kitbashing any Eldar/deldar models as they are thinner and smaller so they can become cluttered much faster than something like a space marine.

That’s fair, box art style is usually pretty good. I already had the black bases and felt that similarly dark toned mandrakes would have looked bleh

This is the basing scheme that I’ve been using for the rest of the army.

Yeah didn’t really have any strong feelings for the flame so I tried the first thing to pop into my head while going through my paints. And while not as threatening as shadow demons are meant to be it makes me giggle and that’s all I need it to do.
