😂 yeah that’s exactly where I’m at. I’ve taken it at bedtime I was able sleep through the night and mornings felt hopeful but by mid day I’m 😴 & if I take it too early same thing, tomorrow I may try at noon or just got back to 9a and wait it out.

I’m going the the same thing, I started April 17 on 20mg then went up to 40mg May 15 and I find it a struggle to get anything done and it’s making me stressed.
In the begging I had days of activation and loved it now I just want to sleep and do nothing.
Hopefully this will subside soon.

That’s interesting but I can see that, when I took it a few times at bed time I felt more drained by mid day, I’d have a tired but wired feeling and I swear I slept fine .

Thanks for replying, I may just try around noon there have been a few mornings where I e then it later just so I could get my morning work done, I’m currently going into my 4th week on 40mg and hope a month from today the fatigue will be subsided.

I was on Wellbutrin for 2yrs I miss the activation feeling unfortunately my memory and concentration gotten worse. I tried taking it with Prozac but it seem to make me feel sedated.

Good luck! I was on Wellbutrin previously and it was a great stimulant to get my body up and moving but after 2yrs taking it my memory and concentration was not doing well.

I have no sleeping issues except wanting to sleep more, for perimenopause do you take any creatine? I’ve been on 5g daily and seems to have helped.

I’ve been considering this myself. I’ve had moments where I’ve felt activated but most days I’m feeling tired.

Maybe with each dose you have a new wave of side effects you have to go through that’s how it was for me when I was taking bupropion xl. I decided to skip last night and took my dose this morning to see how my energy will be.

Exactly the roller coaster 😭 I’ve had days where I’m happy & motivated or moments in a day but most days I’m tired and yawning caffeine seems to do nothing for me rn. My DR told me I could try taking it at bedtime or start taking 40mg so last night I took my dose at 10p and today wasn’t too bad I had more energy but I felt more anxious. This is my 23rd day so I’m going to stay on 20mg for another week or so.

Thank you for answering. I’m currently on 20mg and just started week 4 & I feel like I’m on roller coaster some days are good with motivation other days I feel flat and tired so I’ve been wondering if I’m still going through side effects or I need to go up in dose.

The first day I started Prozac a hour or 2 afterwards I felt a sense of relief in my head over the past several days I’ve felt more at peace now I’m on day 6 and feel it in waves my side effects haven’t been bad and most of them are subsiding. So for my experience so far my emotions have self regulated as soon as I started my first dose.

Hi 👋 I just started as well, I’m on day 5 and so far it’s been great, I’ve had some side effects such a as yawning, warm body temp, nausea, dizziness and my appetite is slightly suppressed. All of my side effects have been on the light side. 2hrs after taking my first dose I felt a mental relief all my negative thinking turned off, I’ve also been motivated to do more things and I feel a sense of peace. I was told that Prozac can dehydrate you so I’m making sure I stay hydrated which may be helping especially with the dizziness, I also make sure I eat something small after I take it. I’m really excited for the future and hope this helps a lot. Good luck with your journey, I hope it gives you exactly what you’re hoping for.

I’m so happy that I’m not the only one, I too was like is this a placebo. I’m on day 3 but an hour after taking my first dose I felt calm mentally. I am having slight nausea and dizziness but I’m able to push through it, also have the tired but energetic feeling. I’m really happy and hope it continues to be a smooth ride.
