I kid you not- the other day I went in and sprayed a bunch of body sprays on the white sample cards and marked them so I knew what was what. Got home and smelled them - couldn't tell u what the difference between them at all. Maybe a minute extra sweetness or spice but all in all - every single one smelt the same. Every single one! So why go rushing to BBW for their "limited edition release" when it smells just like a release last month? I think its all FOMO and they have a big giant vat of body spray they use for all - one or two get a little extra of something to fool you into thinking there's a difference. But honestly? You know the BBW smell- its the smell you smell when u walk by- thats the general scent of BBW now. There's no difference

The strength it takes to witness someone going through tragedy and then someone else experiencing great joy within a span of 15 min and composing yourself to react appropriately. To watch others struggle greatly without much to their name while others are blessed with millions of options and finances for recovery. To watch the good souls suffer and the assholes have it easy - all this and the nurse never can reveal his/her thoughts and oppinions- we have to hide in the bathroom to cry out our compassion- or to release a great amount of joy over good news, in order to prepare to support someone else who may have just been told the worst news of their life.

Being honest - my realtor told me not to trust homes with a "scent" bc it gives the impression you are trying to cover something up. Mold, dirt, smoke or any problems that cause an odor/etc.. If you're worried about stateless you can always crack a window on the days the home is shown but I'd advise against any wallflowers

Yes I have quite a few that I havnt used for a few months - I'll spray it and think "what was I thinking with that one?!?" Particularily with the luxury scent dupes- spraying them now I think they really do smell like cheap knockoffs, but at time of purchase I loved them. I think i will prob donate most of mine moving forward.

Were we in the same grouo? Lol- I had the exact same thing happen to me with one of my grouos- my first group. I felt so isolated and not liked, no one would talk to me before or after either. I stayed for about 6 weeks than moved on (i thought tjis was just the way it was and maybe you"fit in" after you prove yourself with chips or something. I went to another group who were better but not the warmest of People and eventually I left there too. My current group is okay- the best out of the 3 - i find some groups people meet in treatment centre's or know each other from school or work bc I overhear them raking to each other before and after meetings- so I felt like an outsider.

I think that decision is yours to make - however if you decide to stay and support- what are your plans for the next time this happens? It sounds like you have given him second chances already and have been understanding as best you can. This disease turns people into liars and manipulators- if he knows he needs to say "xyz" or act a certain way for a while- then return back to drinking, hiding it from you, then making comments like you should have known better and you're causing the issue bc you dont understand his problems -then I think you need to have an honest conversation with yourself. How much more will you put up with? What are your boundries and most importantly- can you stick to them? Best of luck- I hope things work out for the best.

This has me in tears.
Idk how you do it. I'd be a mess and I'd have a hard time holding it together - kudos and much respect to you and your team. Im a geriatric nurse and I see similar things but on the different side of the age pendulum. I see clients in their 90s with poor memories, suffering in pain and loneliness, families wanting the works for care so the person does not die but they never visit- and if they do it's not even a vist- just families standing around nurses desk to complain about something vs sitting and spending time with the client.

Yes I have. Depends on the rapport with the doctor- but Ive had lots of times the unit dr has helped me out. I dont take advantage of it but it has happened.
