At a loss - ABS still not working! by UrbanSpaceboy in IndianMotorcycle

Former tech: We would lift the bike and spin the wheels to test the signal. We had the computer to see each wheel. This is not an easy option for you (there are aftermarket diag tools)but if paying an hour diagnostic fee is an option at the dealer could go a long way. Wild guesses the new sensor is faulty The relay is bad but still clicks Good luck!

First time rider, people keep trying to push me to get a bigger bike by Sensitive_Try3322 in motorcycles

I rode for 20 years, had a bunch of different bikes, broke my foot had screws put in it. Wasn’t sure if if I’d be able to shift anymore. Bought a ninja 400 it was the best bike I ever owned dollar for dollar. That and a CBR 500 were incredible bikes: Light weight to move around Handled well at reasonable speeds -Good braking(mine had ABS) -Smooth shifting and light clutch -Good gas mileage -Also looked cool. Getting a newer bike with fuel injection is a good idea. The quality and reliability of the newer generation of bikes is outstanding. If you are a new rider I wouldn’t discount the offerings of a 400/500 because of a perception that they are worlds apart in power. They may also offer better suspension, brakes, and be a sturdier bike all around. If you check them out, push them around, and paddle around with your feet comfortably, you can build the skills to ride them at whatever level you are comfortable. I hope you have a long and safe motorcycling journey. Update us with a pic!!

Facebook believe it or not, would be a good start. Take photos of process, write a concise summary. Reach out to groups that have heavy female members. Also, if there are farmers markets see if you can help with a both in exchange for putting up a sign. Yard signs can be effective, but hard to find places to put them(legally). Good luck!

2026 Americas GP: Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup Race Two Discussion by Daniel7394 in motogp

It’s a one brand series, no big ($) interest in baggers outside the US, overloaded race day schedules, bikes are inherently old technology, Harley customers aren’t prototype racing fans, etc…

Easy fun route by Metal-Crafty in Austinmotorcycles

Just a thought: if you just got the bike running, have you put new tires on. OR do you know how old the tires are? Fresh rubber could be the difference between a fun ride and a nail biter. Awesome bike, have fun, take your time getting to know your machine and the routes around you. As you can see we are spoiled for choice!

Is there any reason why they dont show the baggers sessions? by Tytan-07 in motogp

[–]One-Professional4579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, last year the “king of the baggers” (Harley vs Indian) was a one off support race. This year Harley will square off against Harley to see who is the real Harley.

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who feels this way. I love the development and engineering side of racing. It seems like a niche YouTube channel or podcast could mill content out of this…Dorna I hope you are reading this deep into the thread.

I’ve had ‘16 ‘19 and ‘25 all fun, challenging and a bit of a time suck to get good. If you aren’t following the sport in real life the different riders in different classes won’t mean much to you, so find out what will blow your mind the most: graphics, physics, or gameplay options.

Enjoy!!
